Need help from a TG-16 owner

I got one today, complete with no games. I tested it but all I could get with no game was a white screen. If anyone has seen a TG-16 on with no game and got the same results, I'll feel better about going out and trying to get games for it

Yup, I just turned mine on with no game and got a white screen.

Go buy some games and a Turbo Booster so you can run AV jacks.

My recommendation for the first 3 games you should buy if you are new to TG-16:

1. Devil's Crush
2. Blazing Lasers
3. Bonk's Adventure

I can double vouch for this. You get a white screen with no game inside. In all the years of my collecting, I have never encountered a bad TG16....just bad Duo units, and the only thing bad on thsoe were the cd drives. If you still want to be sure and not spend alot, get Keith Courage on ebay for $2-$3 to test it first. And the booster is definitely a must! Try to get the plus version, which has battery backup built in that some games utilize.

just setup a trade which includes bonks and keith courage, even if the TG-16 doesn't work for some wacky reason I'll get one that works. I used to play Devil Crush ALL the time on an emulator and I'm definitly looking for that. And Bomberman, Bomberman '93, and Klax. I love the TG-16 Klax.

Yep, all of those games are great! I just beat Bomberman (for the first time mind you!) and wanted more. I got ahold of Bomberman 93 on ebay..but was forced to pay $36 for it. I grabbed it up however, since I rarely ever see this game on there, and my g/f loved the first one. Now the system is going to be tied up for the next few weeks after I receive 93. Oh well. I tried playing the games on the emulator before I started re-collecting the system, but it just is not the same as the real deal. Expecially with this system. I don't know what it is, but I just can't do well in the games when I play them emulated. It's not my PC joystick...maybe it's just my mentality Well, enjoy the system, but be careful. It is very EASY to spend alot of cash on the system. A complete hucard collection has been my addiction lately. Not good for a guy who is still out of work!

I warned you about '93 man! Take Bomberman and make it better, smoother, and add cute little stills with jingles after you beat each boss and you're done! I need both myself now!
