I bet there are celebrities that like chocolate as well.
I think it is the other way around.
The less money you have, the worse it is to flip shit at your job.
Now if a bum flipped shit at his job, chances are that he would get fired. I am considered middle class with my income, and if i flipped shit, i would get fired.
Now these acting assholes flip shit, and we sympathize with them?
No. We should treat them like any other job. You can hear at one point what sounds like Bale going after the other dude. You make a hostile work environment for your co-workers, you no longer have a job.
That is the real world, and that is why I have no respect for him. Shit, it has nothing to do with his income. He could be working at Micky D's, and I still feel that he should be treated the same.
This idea that actors are somehow greater than other people is fucking dumb. The thing that separates us is that they chose a field that pays way more money. I am just fine with that. I chose the field I am in, and know and realize that it does not pay millions. I am fine with that.
I can see how it can mess you up when you are paid to act as a character, and some dude fucks it up, but bringing a hostile work environment is not the way to handle work related issues.
Even if he appologized, it should not matter. It would be like if I flipped out at my job, brought a hostile work environment to somebody, and then assumed that it would be fine after I appologized. It would not. I would get fired.
What should have happened once Bale brought a hostile work environment? He gets fired. Plain and simple. I guarentee that there are many, many striving actors out there that you can pay less for the same great work (see, now that is America).
The problem is that somehow actors get put up on some fucking pedistal like they are somehow better than everybody else. They are not. They do their job, I do mine, and we all do what we can to make a living regardless of the pay. You bring a hostile work environment to me when I am trying to do my job, even if I fuck up, then seeing as how you are not my boss, you should not have a job, and somebody else who can get paid less comes in and takes your place.
And yes, I feel that any person, regardless of the job, that brings any type of hostile work environment to other employees should not have a job doing that. If an actor, who has no legislature over a stage grip or whoever it was, tries to act all high and mighty, well that actor is not your boss, and it should be the boss' decision as to what happens, not somebody who thinks they are better than you trying to attack you.
Bale was dumb enough to do it on a very high profile project, and hence somebody was recording audio.
He appologized though:
