Default Atari 5200 game sales from 1986 to 1990 in the United States

    I got the info from http://www.atariage.com/forums/index...owtopic=144751 .

Curt Vendel didn't post any Atari 5200 system sales from 1986 through 1990 or Atari 5200 games sales from 1982 to 1984.

Atari was selling their left over stock of Atari 5200 games during that time including selling games that weren't released before 1986 like Gremlins, Rescue on Fractalus, etc. I don't know if these sales numbers had all the sales mumbers from all 1986 Atari 5200 releases like Gremlins. I am not an Atari 5200 owner or an expect on that system.

I downloaded the files and added the totals up by excel. Here are the totals:

    Missle Command -55,628
    Super Breakout -102,056
    Space Invaders-41,791
    Star Raiders- 76,854
    Galaxian -73649
    Football -17,386
    Pac-Man - 35,009
    Baseball - 10,784
    Countermeasure -31,947
    Dig Dug -13,848
    Qix -59,011
    Soccer -60,362
    Tennis -18,274
    Centipede - 37,328
    Vanguard -31,640
    Pole Position -12,492
    Defender - 83,942
    Berzerk - 33,981
    Jungle Hunt - 7,966
    Robotron 2084 -12,761
    Kangaroo - 7,462
    Space Dungeon - 10,491
    Pengo - 33,054
    Joust - 53,924
    Moon Patrol -33,084
    Ms. Pac-man - 35,502
    Mario Brothers - 32,841
    Choplifter - 5,137
    Rescue on Fractalus - 11,577
    Ball Blazer - 19,461
    Gremlins - 5,016

I also am doing Atari XE sales figures from 1986 - 1990 on XE Applications United States sales, Atari XE United States Educational software sales, Atari Xe United States XE Miscellaneous sales and United States Atari XE Game sales. I am not able to finish tonight. I will try to complete all the Atari 2600 United States game sales from 1986 to 1990 later tomorrow.

Curt Vendel released all this info earlier today for the XE, 5200, and the Atari 2600. I am using excel to add the sales for each title up.

    That's great! Thanks 7th lutz!

I wish this type of information was available for many other systems.
