    Default FA: Modded Master System

I am putting up one of my modded Master Systems and duplicate games on eBay.

The controllers are in great shape and had the protective film on them till I peeled it off for this auction. Thanks for looking!

That system looks great. Does it increase the video quality any or is it pretty much the same. I think the price is kinda high, I am not sure if someone outside of the gaming community will see the added benefits of the new outputs.

Sweet well taken care of system!
Condoleezza Rice is nice, but I prefer A Roni!

If I'm not mistaken the SMS had composite video as a standard output through the A/V port out of the box. If so, than this mod is no upgrade to the console's video signal, it just negates the need for a propriatery Sega A/V cable.

This would be accurate. There could be some benefit by using new high quality cables (like Monster cables or other of similar caliber) rather than a 20 year old A/V cable. However, this mod does provide the benefit of dual mono out, so you get sound out of both speakers rather than just one without the need of additional adapter.

As noted above, this is still a composite signal, so the any increase in video quality would be based on the cables used.

This mod would eliminate the need for a proprietary cable and an audio splitter ($5 - $15 depending on where you shop) Additionally, modded systems are cool
