My wife and I made a trip to "Savers" tonight because she needed some mason jars. I decided to head over to electronics to check things out. I actually have never had a great find at a thrift store before this (as far as games) so I wasn't really looking for or expecting anything in particular.
So you can imagine my surprise when my wife pointed out an NES in the original box and packaging sitting on top of a dresser for ten bucks. We thought maybe it was just the box but upon opening it we found the whole system with controllers and cords and also a warranty packet(sealed), manual, NES promotional poster and "Nintendo Power" brochure. The A.V. cords and the connector for older television sets were both sealed in their original packaging. Everything else was present but obviously used. Can't complain for ten bucks!

The guy at the counter said he had planned to buy it after his shift. I've heard sales people at thrift stores have to allow merchandise to sit on the floor for 24 hours before they can purchase it.
I didn't even to think to look and see if the person who dropped this off also dropped off games with it...
