Just wondered how many games you own for the 3 current-gen consoles?

My friends always say I got alot and it's insane how many I own, they know I love to collect and just was wondering what you all have....numbers wise.... my fellow collecters, mine is ok:

Xbox 360- 116
PS3- 21
Nintendo Wii- 87

That's a great number to have, and roughly twice as much as me. It's all relative though, so it all depends on what else you ahev and colelct for. If these were your only consoles and the only ones you buy for, then those numbers are justified and relative, whereas someone like myself spreads my buying across many more consoles, and therefore can't allocate as much cash towards collecting for the current-gen.

However, if indeed you do collect for many other consoles too, then that's excellent going! At the moment though, i'm more interested in chasing older games I missed last generation and waiting for games from this generation to drop in price, with many games I do have being LE's and CE's which I had to buy on release day as they would be harder to source at a later date. DS games are relatively cheap, hence why I have more than any other, and PSP games are picked up here and there for peanuts whenever I can be bothered to scour eBay for bargains

As a general rule though, I mainly stick to the main franchises, so many of the other games I have from this generation form part of a sub-collection, such as Resident Evil, Pokemon, Metroid, Final Fantasy etc...

I'm going to have to keep editing my list because I'm always adding games nearly every week to my 360 and I just picked up my first PS3 game a few days ago. I also collect for the Wii, Ds and Psp.

Of the major 3, I have 38 Wii games and 4 360 games.
Handhelds thrown in, 57 PSP and 143 DS. 258 PS2 but that's not current. It's just getting releases still.

Wii - two. I bought a couple cheap for whenever I come across a Wii console I can afford in a thrift store or flea market, which will be around a decade from now.

Xbox 360 - Between 15 to 20. All pretty much budget releases. I generally don't buy games right after release, I wait half a year until they're clogging the shelves and buy them marked down.

Nintendo DS - 5. I recently bought a first generation DS at a thrift, but my prejudice against Nintendo portables keeps me from being able to enjoy it.

I got a few more DS, PSP, and PS3 games. Not home to count them right now, but I know that my PS3 estimate of 8 games wasn't close. I think I have 15 PS3 games and 1 PSN game(that one time Rag Doll Kung Fu was free on PSN.)

I'm a lot more selective with what games I buy now A) because I wasted a lot of money last gen on some real shitty games, B) I mostly buy new games at launch and I'm very selective with what I buy at full price, and C) I just don't want tonnes of games creating clutter. I just concentrate (mostly) on my favourite games and franchises. Back in the PS2/Xbox/Cube days, I was buying new and used games on a weekly basis and I wasted a lot of money on shitty games. Needless to say it got a bit out of control. I do eventually plan on getting a 360 when it has another significant price drop, because there's only about a half dozen games I want to play on it and I refuse to pay the current price because it's such an unreliable system.
