    Does anybody have the input/output info for the Japanese Mega Drive power supply?

    Not true the input for the American model 1 is 120V AC 60Hz 18W and the input for the Japanese model 1 is 100V AC 60Hz 13W. The output is what I need to figure out now but I would like for someone to verify that my input rating is correct as well.

    The input doesn't matter as much if you're going to use a Japanese console in the US. The 10-20V difference isn't significant. Besides, what matters is the output since that is what the console will receive.

    Same output and configuration. You should be able to use an US power supply just fine. If you don't feel confident about doing that you can get a Japanese power supply. The model number is SA-160A as indicated in the quoted specs.

    Thanks for the help, I think I might just buy a japanese power supply for it since I found a site selling the official ones for only about $8.
