Default ghostbusters on wii or 360?

well i was wonderin which one to get ghostbusters for. i like the idea of using the wii remote as the blaster, but i think i might have heard someone say the wii version is like cartoony or something. is that true ? or anyone by chance seen the two versions and can say which they liked more?

If you want better story telling get it on the 360.

The 360/PS3 version looks much nicer, and the Wii version does look rather goofy, although that is intentional. While some people like the Wii remote mechanics I prefer to stick to traditional controller inputs.

I'm confused, what do you base that on? All versions have the game have the same story and use the exact same audio clips from the actors.

Yes, the Wii version has a cartoony style.

    - All have the same story, same voices.
    - Wii and PS2 use a cartoony "Real GhostBusters" look. PS3 and 360 use a realistic photo-like look.
    - All pretty much play the same with the following differences:
360 and PS3 - Fairly identical. Plays like a shooter. When wrangling a ghost, player has more control to "slam and subdue".
Wii - Uses the wand to aim/shoot/wrangle ghosts like a typical Wii game.
PS2 - Plays like the 360/PS3 versions with slightly simpler controls. Also, no "slam and subdue", rather you wrangle and move the joystick in the directions you're told to subdue.

GB 360 vs. Wii as far as look

I'd say the Wii/PS2 version is more caricature than cartoon, although, I do tend to link 'cartoon' in game terms with cel shaded polys. Semantics, I know.

I'm going to give both the Wii and 360 version a go when ever I can get around to it. Rent each before you plunk down full retail and commit to one.

I've noticed that some of the cutscenes are trimmed down on the PS2 version so I'd assume that's the same of the Wii - makes them slightly different games.

I picked up the 360 version and so far I like it. To me it's like an interactive Ghostbusters 3 movie. The proton pack and trap effects look really awesome in 1080p. I'm just hoping that I don't beat the game too early. To the OP, I'd recommend the XBOX 360/PS3 version.

There are small diffrences if you have both versions then you know this. *ERF let me try and state this diffrently. If your playing for the story and the cut scenes and how pretty it is get the 360 if you dont care and just want to play gb then its really up to you. Is that better?

I'm not too sure how the Wii version is yet from how I played it, but I have it on the 360, and I love it.

I heard from a friend who rented it on Wii is that there was one thing he noticed that was absent in the Wii game, if you played the 360/PS3 version the first level when you are in the hotel and you face the fisherman boss and the whole hotel overflows with water? That isn't in there. Instead, you fight a chef.

In some ways but just wanted to point out that the ps2 and wii versions were not terminal reality's babies.
