    Default Super Mario World 3

I couldn't find this anywhere, but maybe someone knows. Is Super Mario World 3 available anywhere as a reproduction cart?

What's Super Mario World 3? Is that an unreleased game?

There's a WIP hack that was released last week:
    http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=thread&...1&r=1#id299171
And if that's what is being referred to, I would advise you not to be deceived by the name and to spend your time with a much more worthwhile hack - which would be pretty much anything at this point.

I doubt reproductions of SMW hacks in general are particularly feasible; as I recall, most of them require expanding the ROM to 48 Mbits, and there are very few donor carts that could be used for a ROM of that size - and they wouldn't be cheap, common games either.

That explains why I never heard of it.

Right now it looks like it is only a level, so I'm not sure if this is the game the OP is referring to. With only a level it wouldn't make much sense to put it on a cart, regardless of any other issues.

One of these Insanely hard hacks. But I want a cart of one. If anyone knows something along these lines. Let me know.

Dude, none of those are called Super Mario World 3.

Also, those things are pretty much a novelty and I doubt carts made from any one of them would be very popular; it's virtually impossible to get anywhere in most of them without savestates. It would have to be a custom job, and like I said, I'm pretty sure a cart of any one of those would be nearly impossible to make. But I'd be intrigued to hear otherwise...

Just use a multicart and put only that one game on it then stick your own label on it...

I'm a collector, but only to a certain extent.
Not as extreme as Rickstilwell though.[/quote]
