    Default Gamestation RETURNS help.. ??

my mate today dropped my xbox 360 controller on the floor,, when he did so.. my LB button got stuck as if the spring had gone.. now if you want to use that LB button you have to press it really hard (with 2 hands) i bought it with gamestation (still in warranty) so my question is,, will i be able to replace the controller... or the whole xbox.. or what..

    thanks

You might b able to get it replaced, but the standard warranty doesn't cover abuse and i'd guess if you bought an extended warranty it's still not covered.

If you tell them what happened and they exchange it, great. If you have to lie about why it's broken, then that's fraud.

Not recommended, but I've heard of folks buying a controller and returning it with, umm, broken parts installed.

I'm saying some folks would switcharoo the broken button, leaving all serial numbers intact.

Of course, I can't condone this

And like 90% of customers do this where I work.

Had this happen to my PS3 controller and just popped it opened and put the spring back on, not sure how hard 360 controllers are to take apart but I imagine it wouldn't be that hard to try and fix yourself.

I guess since you have a warranty though you should just go back and say it caved in, don't say your friend dropped it. It "caved" in.
