I'm pretty sure there are plenty of people who were able to do the trial with a PS3/360 controller, so there's really no need to get all pissy over not being able to do a move. Now Green Eye in Lost Planet is something to bitch about, quite possibly one of the most frustrating boss fight I have ever experienced in a game, I've yet to be able to kill him.

It's actually pretty easy. Start out by getting the T-Eng in the barrels on the middle section, grab the grenade launcher, rush over to the other ledge with T-Eng barrels and absorb that. Then wait for Green Eye's weakness bubbles on his sides to be in view and stay around the edges (and middle) of the arena (while dodging it's attacks) so you can pop those. After those are taken care of, get down from the ledges and boost dash to stay directly in front of Green Eye while blasting his face bubbles with the Grenade Launcher. Grab as much of the T-Eng that comes out of the monster as you can and you should be fine.

Green Eye is not bad in Lost Planet.

As for controller vs joystick, I dominate with a controller. Maybe I missed something, but can't you use the joystick on the pad?

what I wanna know is, will a 360 stick work on a PC the same way a 360 pad works on a PC? or does somebody make a high quality 6 button stick for PC?

Yes to both (PS3 or 360 compatible too, on the second, see Hori Real Arcade Pro series sticks).

Yeah, it sounds like the vent was because, obviously, the stage was difficult.

And then because the person is better with a joystick, the rant was also against using the d-pad.

What I am still confused about, is if the d-pad is difficult to use, why not use the joystick on the controller?

Resident Evil 5 makes you pay for additional modes like versus and Mercenary that came standard with RE4 and should have came standard as RE5. That's another thing I'll bitch about if I ever email or mail them. Also the fact that they already made RE4, why make another RE with shitty wannabe first person controls that don't even do it remotely as good.

If you're going to be a survival horror, then that's fine. If you're going to be a blow shit up first person shooter game, then make the damn game like Left 4 Dead or something where you actually have "control."

Also. Outbreak 3, Capcom. No load times either. I don't feel like waiting 20 seconds a room again.

If it were just the originating post, it might just be venting, but when he keeps arguing the point...it sounds more like he really believes it.

The high jump is pretty much a cancel. Get that high jump motion in right as you do that light punch, then Burst Time immediately after that.
