Have you beaten all 32 levels of Super Mario Bros.?

Just like the question asks. I was reminded of this when I made another attempt last night (I lost steam in World 5 and took my last breath in World 6-1). I've only been able to accomplish it once, and that time I only had one live left over. But I've talked to some people who have never beaten Super Mario Bros. completely, or just use warp pipes to get to the end.

So, have you beaten it all?

Indeed I have beaten them all, although not on the original NES cart. I've played through them all on the SMB Deluxe cart for the GBC.

I know I've beaten all the levels, but in one sitting? Definitely not. Tried to beat the Lost Levels (both NES and SNES versions) without warps, but I think I made it to 2-1 before giving up? I dare say it may be TOO difficult!

I'm gonna go ahead and say it, I don't think I ever beat SMB...I can't remember if I have so I'ma say I havn't.

I'm not sure I've actually beaten it either. 2 and 3 yes.

Ever since watching Arino try them on Gamecenter CX I've wanted to give them a go. Then I saw the special on "lost levels" (of course, Super Mario 2 to them) where a fan sent a video on how to beat it. They were so impressed they brought him to play it on the show - and he beats it one shot without losing a life.

Hell, I don't know if I can do the unlimited 1-ups trick on SMB1. I've never found the right timing to first stomp on the Koopa to set it up.

Umm, yeah, no problem. In under half an hour too. I usually don't even die until I get to World 8 something. I didn't think it was that big of a deal.

I've beaten them all a few times though I've beaten the game far more than that using the world four warp zone.

Not a very difficult game, maybe when I was a young kid I had trouble. I've played through it all before probably a few times or so too.

Too many times to count. It's one of the most popular games of all-time in Japan. I think most people of my generation managed to finish it.

I voted multiple times. It's the only game I had for the longest time so you start to get to know it inside and out. I'm still no good at getting multiple lives off the turtle comming down the staris though. I always manage to hit it wrong and loose a life.

I typically did the warps to get to the end but one time I did go through the whole game. Took a couple continues but I pulled it off.

In comparison, I've never beaten SMB3.

only mario I've beaten is mario 64 and I didn't beat it 100% (forget how many stars there are. Almost beaten mario 3 for nes get to the end and die every time never beat but played super mario world many times and of course the first mario.

I remember one time when one of my high school cronies and I ran into each other up at the university a few years after we graduated from high school. He was late to his calculus class (he commuted) and the teacher had already closed the door, so he decided that he would come back to my dorm and play some NES, as he had an hour or so to kill. We decided to play Super Mario Bros, he went first and lost a life in world 1 by doing something stupid, and then I played a solid round until world 4 or 5, and then lost a life, throwing the game back to him (alternating turns between Mario and Luigi).

Yes, I have beaten the game countless times. When I was younger, I felt the game was pretty difficult, and could barely get out of 1-2, later I could barely make it by 4-3, etc. However, I have been playing this game since I was 3 so by now it is no problem for me. However, if I play Super Mario Bros. 2, there is no guarantee that I will make it to the end.

God, I've ran through the game (every level) dozens of times. All of the Mario games.

Yeah, I've done it more times than I can count (definitely more times with the warp zone though)...even in the arcade "Vs." SMB (but not too many times). Vs. Super Mario Bros. is a much more difficult game and the "100 men" trick doesn't work the same. World 6-3 takes SMB to a whole new level (and everyone that's played it, knows what I'm talking about).

It doesn't take that long to run through all the levels in SMB. The Lost Levels, however, is a different story and I was only able to do that on the All-Stars cart where you can save your progress.

I remember beating it at least once, I think with warps. Not really sure if I've beaten it multiple times, possibly.

Not even close. I've beaten it in that I've taken the cart and beaten it against the wall. Does that count?

I've done it a few times myself, not recently though, just those times I said heck I want to go through all of SMB1's worlds. Haven't gotten the urge since the last time I did so 2 years ago.
