    Default Half-Life for PS2 -- Save Data?

Would anyone happen to have a PS2 memory card with a save file for Half-Life on it?

My save file got corrupted right around the end of the "Apprehension" chapter. I've already decided I'm not starting over from scratch, it's too time-consuming and I've got too many other games I want to play. But I thought I'd ask and see if anyone had a memory card I could borrow?

I'll pay shipping both ways of course, and a little something extra for your trouble if you'd like. I'll even send you my card if you'd feel more comfortable doing it that way. Prefer to do a straight copy through the PS2 though, as I've read horror stories about 3rd party devices wiping cards clean.

    Thanks in advance.

Wait, you can do that? Softmod a Ps2 to use a USB stick? I thought you had to use one of those cheat devices...

Hmmm... IIRC, you do need an AR Max, but you can get one cheap and easy.

    Here's a quick guide:

I softmodded my fat ps2 and it works fine.

I have a Codebreaker somewhere but it doesn't recognize my only USB drive thing. Been trying to find a smaller one somewhere (mine's 512MB) but nobody sells any around here for cheap. People actually SELL the softmod down here in Mexico but I refuse to pay anyone money for this. Blargh.

My PS2's pretty new anyway, that guide will likely not work.

Is it a fat one or a slim one? I think that it works for all fat ones.

Mine is one of the GT3 PS2 and it worked great, but it's supposed to work on later ones too.
