PSony - I can't remember if I pm'd you or not... Sorry if I didn't. There isn't too much in the mod department that I offer for the SCDs at the moment. I can swap out led lights for any color you want, but that's probably about it for now. Eventually I'll offer region mods, but it will be quite awhile still.

Soviet Conscript -I do RGB mods, but haven't on a CD-i yet. Seems like info is pretty hard to find on that procedure...if you happen to have info on it then I should be able to. I'll do some further research and see if I come across anything.

Hey, Rai. I'm having issues with my PC Engine Duo's Redbook audio. It fizzles out at times after starting up. Would you be interested in taking on the job of fixing it? Thanks in advance.

    Vysethebold - PM sent!

8James - Any major electronics parts company carries gold rca jacks. Don't look at Radio Shack/The Shack or small places though as you're not likely to find anything there.

Some jacks are a real pain to find anywhere though. S-video jacks that are gold are becoming like actual gold these days it seems. I can't even find reliable suppliers

For the s-video gold plated connector look here (almost at the very bottom):

    http://www.showmecables.com/showProd...egory_id=17445

is the "S-video female solder coupler" type, just remove it from the plastic base, comes with screw...

And Actually, RadioShack does carry the Gold plated RCA Jacks under:

Snap-in Jack for Red RCA plug, catalog/model #:278-2071

    White RCA, catalog/part number: 278-2067

And Yellow RCA, part number: 278-2075

    Hope it helps!

Hey, Rai. I just wanted to let you know that I still want to do the NES 2 mod but I'm at college without my system. I'll send it around Thanksgiving when I go home next.

Holy crap, this is the coolest thread since the SNES reproductions thread! Very amazing stuff. I would be interested in modding my Atari Flashback 2 to include a cartridge slot. When this thing first launched I remember reading that there would be a mod possible to allow a cartridge slot to be added and also retain the built in games on the system. I really wanted to do the mod at the time I bought it but my soldering skills just are not up to par. I added an afterburner light to my original GBA and let me tell you that was a real hack job.

So any idea what something like that would cost? I am not sure where you could even buy the cartridge slot anymore...

Bumping back up. Life's been incredibly busy for me since Christmas, but I'm finally back and actively offering services again

Purkeynator - Thanks for the awesome compliment! If you're still looking to get that Flashback 2 modded just send me a PM and we can talk

Richter Belmount - Eventually I hope to, but at the moment I unfortunately just don't have the time to do all the necessary R&D for them.

tpugmire - 2600 AV mods have been on hold for awhile, but I'm hoping to have them up and going again. Send me a PM if you're still looking to have one done and we can talk.

Possibly interested in a NES toploader composite mod. Does that price include shipping it back?
