    Default Lunar strategy guide

Found a guide for "Lunar", (the original I think) for $20 locally and was wondering if that's a good price, or at least good enough to flip for a few bucks? It seems to be in good shape and is smaller than the normal books, more like comic-sized, but thicker obviously.

I don't own Lunar on any platform, but hope to someday, so this might just go into the collection.

    LMK your opinions.

If you're keeping it for yourself, $20 is fine. Don't bother flipping it. If it's for the Sega CD release (has an orange cover), you can get it on eBay for <$20.

Not sure which one it is, but it's not the Sega CD one. Based on ebay pics, it's either for Lunar I or II, but not the Japanese release. I just looked at it real quick, so I didn't pay too much attention - guess I'll go back and look at it to find out exactly which one it is!

I only say it's the Sega CD one as it looks like the only one smaller like a comic book as you mentioned.

Either way, it doesn't look like any Lunar strategy guide goes for much at all.

If I recall correctly the strategy guide for Lunar Eternal Blue Complete was hardcover, like the pack in manual. The strategy guide for Lunar Silver Star Story Complete was as you described, about the size of a paperback and nearly as thick as a DVD case.

On the same subject, are prices like this reasonable?

    I have this guide sealed.

    Define the term "reasonable."

Reasonable, as it's the average going price for an item in that condition.

    Care to answer the question?

    rea·son·able
    a : being in accordance with reason <a reasonable theory> b : not extreme or excessive <reasonable requests> c : moderate, fair <a reasonable chance> <a reasonable price> d : "inexpensive"

with that said you can get the factory sealed guide strait from Victor Ireland for about 130$ shipped with his autograph (If and when he lists it)

as for the OP I don't think Working Designs made the Sega CD guides so they were not made in the same limited quantity as the games so they are neither rare or expensive.
