Was reading in an old issue of Nintendo Power that there was a keyboard attatchment for the original Gameboy called "Workboy" It basically acted like a pda. Was this ever released? and if so does anyone own one?

No. No.
Was never released. Would have been very cool if it was though.
No. That's all I know.

There have been threads about this before. (Search for "Workboy".)
There was a scan of a very informative article somewhere, but I forget where. It was put together by an independent group in the UK, as I recall.
In related business, I also read once about a possible modification for a Macintosh keyboard to allow it to be used via the Game Boy link port, principally for use with the homebrew Infocom interpreter (Zork, etc) ported to the GB.

Yes, I got that from a UK magazine Game Zone. A friend of mine can swear he's seen the Workboy for sale at the local market (at the time). Week later I went and searched, but I never found it, so who knows.
I see if I can dig out the magazine and scan it.
