Watch out for flea market shirts. There's a guy here who sell shirts for $2 each but I have to buy 3XL because once it shrinks its about the size of XL.

Went to goodwill today and apparently found something pretty nice:

    Atari 7800:

    Rampage (Complete)

    Genesis:

    Lotus 2

Will probably either trade the Rampage or put it on ebay as I don't collect atari stuff.

Actually, XL shirts shrink to just my size.

    Or they would, if I used a dryer. Which I don't. :P

A lot of sales today but not much video game stuff.

I was at a sale this morning. They had a NES system with a dozen games. $75.

    Ick.

I wanted some of the games and when I asked the lady about the NES stuff she said "Do you know how much these sell for online?". I replied with a "Yes, I collect these games." She looked at me for a solid 5 seconds with a strange look on her face. I then told her that I would be interested in a few games. She then said she'd see about selling them seperately. I picked up the ones I wanted and handed them to her. SHE THEN TOOK HER CELL PHONE AND CALLED HER HUSBAND RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME AND SAID TO HIM "HOW MUCH ARE THESE GAMES WORTH?" AND PROCEEDED TO LIST OFF THE GAME'S NAMES. She told me $20 for the 4 games and I countered with $16 or $4 each. The games were Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong Classics, Wheel of Fortune, and Bomberman. All of the games, except for Bomberman, were in nice shape and complete in the original box. I figured that Donkey Kong classics, and the other boxed games were worth the price and I've been wanting Bomberman for a while.
Check my auctions here! I am in the business of finding off-beat things, including video game stuff!

    Finds at Goodwill:
2 Genesis joysticks - $3 each (not sure which model yet)
PSP Carrying Case (PSP-1000 launch case?) - $3 for a friend
TRS-80 Acoustic Coupler - $3...I love old computer hardware.
    Some game magazines - $.39 each (2)
    Diablo Strategy Guide - $.99

    Finds at PnT:
PSP Carrying Case (looks like a PSP-2000 case) - $4

    Dreamcast:
    Mortal Kombat Gold - $15
    Sonic Shuffle - $9
    Frogger 2 - Free with Buy2Get1

    Strategy Guides ($3 each, Buy2Get1):
    Pokemon Pokedex (most recent one)
Pokemon Trading Card Game (I love this game...recently purchased a 2nd copy)
    Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
    Castlevania: Lament of Innocence
    Castlevania: Curse of Darkness
    Duke Nukem 64

My favorite find? The Acoustic Coupler. This thing is awesome, and I can't wait to get it to work with my TRS-80.

Urk, that one with all of the Generation 3 Pokemon on the cover? I hate that thing... the one for Generation 2 was so complete and detailed that I was surprised at how bad this one was.

    Pictures!

    From yesterday:

From today: CDs were $2 each (she STILL won't lower the prices, bah) and FFVII was $5.

Hyperstone Heist was $4 (down from $5); I also went to Toys'R'Us and bought Popstar Guitar for $5. I can't resist buying crap games for so cheap.

    Kitsune,
Anything with Misty Mundae is horrible. I know her movies are train wrecks, but look away if possible...not much to look at anyway. Look into Lord of the G-String if you want to see a better movie with her, although it's more comedy than softcore pr0n. Smirnoff the Wizard...heh.

    BetaWolf,
It's the Pokemon Diamond & Pearl Pokedex. I haven't kept up on Pokemon over the years, so I'm not sure which Generation guide it is. Last true Pokemon game I played was the original Red & Blue in Middle School(!!! Showing my age...heh).

Kitsune: Coil is a great album. I miss Toad, and can't see why they didn't keep going in that direction.

My friends thought Misty Mundae was THE SHIT back in... 8th grade. So after all these years of not bothering, I wasn't missing anything?

I enjoy watching horrible trainwreck movies. I mean, seriously, SpiderBabe? How can anything with that name not be horrible? Besides, I can make a Scans Daily write-up out of it, and that's fine with me.

For once, a good kijiji find!
29 boxed SMS games (most complete) for $35
although, I gave him $40, because I accidentally made him wait 1/2 hour.
I said I'd be available anytime after 1, so RIGHT AT 1, he went to the rendevous point.
I checked my email at 1:20 to find a message saying "I'll be here until 1:15"
    I appreciate his promptness but....what?

Some good games, nothing really rare, but I didn't have most of them.
I collected SMS games with my ex years ago, and when we split, he kept the domestic games, I kept the imports.
So I have titles like Bubble Bobble, Lion King and Mortal Kombat, but I was missing games like Altered Beast, Hang-On/Safari Hunt and Out Run. lol

I made a thread in the Buying and Selling forum, if anyone would like to trade commons with me, as I did end up with some extras from this lot, and I'd really like to regain some of the titles I once had.

    A find in Mexico!

I went to pay the phone bill and I decided to hit a second hand / pawn shop that's in what used to be the Chinesca alley some ten years back. I go there like once a month to see if they bring anything of interest.

Well, they had lots of PS1 bootleg discs. I did find a copy of Intelligent Qube, disc only. I should've bought it but the disc was all scratched... I may go back for it tomorrow. And I found a complete copy of Legend of Legaia for $4 ($50 Pesos). The disc has a few light scratches, but that's it, the rest is MINT.

Oh yeah, a local Dollar / Budget store had like 24 copies of Pump It Up Exceed for the XBox. Brand new ones, too. They were $99 pesos + sales tax (about $9 USD) o_O
