Default Mad Dog McCree for Wii

Has anyone played the new release of Mad Dog McCree for the Wii? I just found out this was released while searching around today. Now I need to hunt down a copy. I remember playing out the original at the Jersey shore so I am real excited to see this collection.

This seems to have gotten a very limited release. I've seen a total of 2 copies in the wild and both were at oddball stores. Does anybody know if something happened to this to cause it to be so lightly distributed?

Played it. Loved it. It's arcade perfect (fmv video is perfect quality, no pixels or anything).

Can't wait for them to release more fmv shooters/games on the wii

I bought a pair of them (for Ze_ro and I) off of Buy.com. Since then i've found them at Frys, bundled with a gun frame for the Wiimote as well.

So there is a chance that it's rare?

How much is it? I may just pick it up just for collector's sake.

It's all the cheesy fun that I remember from the arcade. My wife thinks that it's junk but she just doesn't "get it"

Wouldn't it be awesome if some modern day publisher got the rights to all the old Digital Pictures/Tom Zito productions games? Stuff like Ground Zero Texas and Sewer Shark and Night Trap. Except, it would really be amazing if they actually somehow got their hands on the original film stock. I'm guessing it was shot on 35mm film, and it's entirely possible that they could restore it to almost high definition quality. The games could be re-released on XBLA and PSN as downloadable titles. The video could be near high def quality and almost completely full-screen. They could probably restore the audio as well.

Unfortunately, the orignal film stock is probably in some storage shed somewhere with water damage.

I paid 19 for the copies I bought off of Buy.com. The copies w/ gun I saw at Frys were either 29 or 39, I don't remember off the top of my head.

I remember seeing an add for this a while ago in some website or magazine. It was in April, so I totally brushed it off thinking it was an April Fool's joke. Glad it's not. I love FMV games and this might be what finally makes me buy a Wii.

Who owns the rights to the Digital Pictures/Tom Zito films now?

At least we got Night Trap and Sewer Shark on the 3Do, which I still think is the best version of Night Trap. Also of not, although not made by Digital Pictures, both Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective and the underrated Dracula Unleashed were released on DVD and they are actually not too bad (though some aspects of Dracula Unleashed were still better on the Sega CD...go figure)....
Mika: Where are you taking me, Gillian?
Gillian: To look at videos on YouTube...
Mika: *sigh* No more videos of a drunk Harry dancing with a dead Snatcher...
Giliian: Nope, it's better...Its LiquidPolicenauts YouTube Videos!

I'm such a sucker for FMV games, I'm totally buying this shit.

As for the other games, their footage could probably still be in good condition. There was some direct to movie video several years back called Game Over that had footage from Corpse Killer and Prize Fighter used.
And don't bring up that stupid girlie Aladdin rip off! Shantea?
