Default Opening a Parker Bros. Wildfire Pinball

Has anyone else done this? I just found one, and the battery terminals are *SHOT*. I'd like to clean them W/O the rest of the case involved, but after removing the 2 screws and wiggling and twisting the case, nuttin.
    Lick me! LICK ME!!

I've got one that I need to take apart and work on, but I still haven't done it. Honestly, I have so many electronic games with battery corrosion and controller problems that I really don't know where to start.
