Default X-Arcade finally releases Xbox 360 adapter

'Bout time. This adapter lets you use the X-Arcade single, dual, or tankstick on the 360. Not approved by Microsoft, so you'll need an X-Arcade PS2 adapter and wired 360 controller to bypass the lockout:

Guess the adapter also lets you use any PS2 controller on the 360 too. Looks like I can finally use my Cobalt Flux pad to play DDR Universe!

Wow. That needs a LOT of stuff to work correctly ...

... with the notice that you get one player per adapter, and considering that the X-Arcade Dual sticks only have ONE output ... does that mean the player 2 side of dual or tank sticks will be non-functional with this setup?

I think if you get the Dual adapter, that lets you use both sides of the Dual or Tanksticks. I'm not positive though.

Yeah, it is a lot of stuff to buy. I already have a Dual X-Arcade stick and PS2 adapter however, so all I need is a wired 360 controller and the $25 adapter. It's still a lot cheaper than getting a XFPS adapter ($90) which still requires a wired 360 controller to use.

One thing I'm not clear on is if you still need an X-Arcade stick to use a PS2 controller on the 360. If not, than this is a pretty good deal, especially when there are so many good fighting sticks out for the PS2. Really looking forward to playing Universe with a decent pad though.

Yeah, $40 isn't bad if you can use both sides of the dual or tank sticks ... but considering how 360s read inputs ... and the fact that that device only appears to have one USB output, I'm guessing you'll only be able to use it as a single player even on a dual stick.

I doubt it will happen. Since you're passing everything thru a wired 360 controller, there's no way to tell if you're using an adapter since the 360 thinks it's just a regular controller (I think).

Plus the XFPS adapter has been out for a couple years now, which is basically the same thing as the X-Arcade adapter. If MS would/could ban these, they would have done it a while ago.
