The only thing I've bought in the last forever. (I'm trying to save money so bigger purchases have been passed on)

    (all disc only)

    Left 4 Dead XB360 - $4
    Halo 3 XB360 - $4
    Marvel Ultimate Alliance PS2 - $1
Champions: Return to Arms - $1
    Mercenaries PS2 - $1
    Capcom Classics Collection PS2 - $1
    Devil May Cry 3 SE - $1

The discs were scratched up so I resurfaced them at work and now they look brand new.

    Game Hunting.

Hit a few Garage Sales and didn't come up with anything.

    Went to the Flea Market...
Stepped into a flea market of disgruntled, pissed off vendors.
Aparently they were just told that the fees went up to more then double..(also not good news for me)

The first vendor I hit was bailing out..Pissed off at the raised fees,Ranting about it out loud to other vendors.,..he had this Nintendo stuff, piled in a big tangled wire mess...

    $61.00.......($20 each system)
the extra dollar was for the Advantage Joystick as he really wanted $5.00 for it seperatly.

I don't feel I got an excellent deal on the stuff but if it was found by another vendor he'd put out the NES for $50.00,the SNES for $40.00-45 and the Top Loader for $60-80.00

I've always wanted to get my wife a new bike, similar to her old bike.. The biggest thing the vendor had was a bike and he didn't want to take it back with him...It was dusty but looked brand new,It had a $50.00 price tag on it..Everything was loose on the bike as if it was just taken out of the box and thrown together. The tires needed air and don't have a sign of use to them.

Taking a chance I asked if he'd go lower and he said,to take it for $30.00..

I offered $20.00 jokingly and he said yes..

So I finnally got my wife a bike,..got it home, tightened everything up,forgot to tighten the seat and she took it for a ride.
Coincidentally looking at old pictures last night of my wife on her old bike this is the same named bike she used to have.

Otherwise the place was bone dry, nothing but loose Xbox systems..$50.00+

My dad picked up these two Boomerangs from Australia for 5.00

Argh. Why can't I find Vectrex games in the wild (cries.)

I went to the flea market today. Couldn't spend much time there. I dug a Virtual Boy controller, sans the battery pack thingie on the bottom, out of a clump of wires. It was $1.

I also got over 100 AllData car repair software discs for $20. It's a whole set of discs from 2002 and 1999. An 18 disc set of AllData repair discs from 2009 brings $350 on eBay. Are these worth anything? Anybody know anything about expensive software? (glances at Kitsune.) I've tried Google, but even that couldn't give me any advice. It's like 6-8 sets of 20 discs and each set is for a specific kind of car, for instance the set sitting right beside me now is "Asian Import" cars. Should I eBay all of them together, by year (2002 and then 1999) or should I sell each 20 disc set independently? I have no idea what this software is worth. I originally bought it all because it looked expensive.

I also got a Pioneer adapter with a bunch of Japanese text on it and it says RWR1017. Tried looking it up on "teh Google" but to no avail. This is the first time I've looked up a model number of something on Google without results.

Meh, if anybody cares I got a Peavey Bandit 112 amp for $25. It's missing it's speaker but I bet that the casing, transformer, knobs, and other parts are at least worth the price I paid.

If it were up to me, I'd list each separate year on its own, and offer a huge discount to anyone who bought 'em all up.

This is interesting, and a darn good find. You would think that anyone who liked the series enough to have all of them would know to ask more for the set. Any manuals or boxes included with those?

Unrelated, but that find is essentially a list of what I'd like to be buried with.

Found a late Sunday dump of PC games at Goodwill, coming back from a hardware store run:

I don't usually buy PC games, but they looked like the kinds of games everyone here is usually talking about reselling, so at $1.99 each, I thought I'd give 'em a try. I will eventually be selling or trading all of them if anyone is interested.

    Grabbed at Target today:

    Mass Effect $9
    Farcry 2 $16

These were on clearance and I had a $10 off coupon to make them even cheaper(they were originally priced at 13.98 and $20.98).

At least try the Might and Magic 8. It isn't the best in the series, but it's good IMO.

    Sombitch.

That Wizardry Archives set sells for $75-$150 on eBay depending on completeness. Arcanum is also fairly popular there.

You're getting your money's worth and then some!

Um... You paid three bucks for a shareware demo. I paid a buck for a sealed copy of that and I felt ripped off.

I've nearly bought Cybergirl sealed at thrifts a few times, myself. It has shown up on its own and in one of those 2-pack value releases.

In the VHS section of my local goodwill I saw a pstwo slimline with a sony memory card, but with no controller or cords. I open the tray and see that Persona III FES is inside... There was no price so I just held it and moved on with the intent to ask how much it was. As I was making my way up front, I saw two ps2 controllers, rca cable and ac adapter in the toys section....so somehow this "bundle" was dismantled. I grabbed the controllers and hook-ups and went to the counter. The manager said I could take everything for $25 so I did.
The system + game works fine, but alas one of the controllers seems broken. Oh well. The game seems cool, though I doubt I will be able to invest the time required to fully enjoy it.

It was a gorgeous day here in the middle of nowhere, so I took the opportunity to get out of the apartment and dig through my storage. "Found" my NES toploader and my SNES 2, which I had been looking for. They were in a box completely hidden away from all my other gaming stuff. Plus now the gaming stuff is more organized.

In shopping/finding news, I saw a boxed, incomplete, beat up Genesis 2 at one of my Goodwills. Had the box, packing tray, console, two 3 button controllers, a power pack, and an RF switch with a damaged cable. It was marked 9.99, and I thought about it, but I left it behind.
