Good 3D DS games for under $20?

It's been a while since I played my DS, and I'm itching to play some 3D games. What are some good cost-effective 3D games?

Wow, looking around on gamerankings.com and IGN, I'm surprised at how scarce quality 3D titles are on the system. I'm not looking for on-rails games or remakes though. Phantom Hourglass seems to be $19.99 used nowadays.

Yeah, you've probably figured out that most of the good games for DS are 2D.

I don't think I own any 3D DS games that aren't remakes. Final Fantasy III was a very nice 3D update to the original though.

This is by opinion. Both versions suck, but the NES version is god awful. Speed of battle is the main thing and the amount of grinding required on top of that just runs that game into the ground. Even FF2, 10, and 11(and 11 blows) are better.

Anyways. Here are some more good 3d games. Like already said, most good DS games are 2d.

Rune Factory 2
Feel the Magic XY/XX One of the best games on the system. Best touch screen game.
Rub Rabbits Sequel to Feel the Magic and second best touch screen game. Both titles are by Sega.

BetaWolf. I looked at your list and see you have Mega Man ZX. If you like the game pick up Mega Man ZX Advent. It's worth picking up.

I liked Ninja Gaiden. It doesn't play like your typical 3D action title, but it sure looks the part. One of the best looking 3D games on the system also. Prime Hunters is up there too. Haven't tried Moon, but I've heard good things. Dementium and Touch the Dead are really fun but don't have the visual punch than Metroid and NG got in spades.

When you say Harvest Moon games do you mean actual Harvest Moon games or Rune Factory? The Rune Factory games are pretty much Harvest Moon except they have an added adventure/RPG aspect to them.

Rune Factory Frontier is also on the Wii. One of the few good games on the system.

I have about 40-50 games each system. They're the two best systems this generation. I do think the PSP is better, but DS has alot of great games so the PSP isn't that much better in my opinion.

Rune Factory 2 is $17.99 on Amazon right now. I also noticed that the thread said under $20. A few of the games listed are above $20. DQ4 and DQ5 on my list are, the rest should be under $20 on my list.

Speed Racer is a very fun 3D racer on the DS with great graphics/effects. Reminds me a lot of Roll Cage on the PS1.

I still think the DS is better than the PSP. The DS has tons of great games. It's just that they're 2D. Phoenix Wright, Trauma Center, Pokemon, Super Princess Peach, Hotel Dusk, Scribblenauts, Castlevania, and on and on.

I think the problem is that the DS can create PS1/N64 type 3D graphics, but nobody finds that old 3D look to be attractive anymore. Most people would rather look at a slick 2D game than a very blocky 3D game. Most people I think if they popped in some of the games from their PS1 collection would now go, "Man this is ugly."
