Default Musical references to other games

I don't know what to call this, but I'll use Castlevania as an example. You know how Super Castlevania IV has newer renditions of songs from the NES Castlevania titles? Well, which other games have that?

    To start off:

Phantasy Star IV: Ladea Tower's music sounds like the dungeon theme from Phantasy Star 1.

Super Mario Bros. and Zelda have too many to count.

Metroid Prime has a new rendition of the Brinstar theme in the beginning.

I know the Level 8 music from "Streets of Rage" is redone in SOR3 as the ending music, but I think its also used in SOR2.

IIRC, a number of NES games (Pro Wrestling, Baseball, Tennis...) all used the exact same theme music. It was a catchy tune and I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo kept on using it in other sports related games.

    You do recall correctly.

Also, I'd like to add that "Mute City" from F-Zero was updated for F-Zero X.

If I remember correctly, in Conker's Bad Fur Day for the N64, one of Conker's idle animations is him playing Killer Instinct on the Game Boy, complete with a Game Boy-esque rendition of Jago's Killer Instinct Gold music.

Oh yeah, that reminds me of the SM64 castle music that you can here in Wrinkly's Cave in DKC3.

    Silent Hill 1, the hospital.

Did anyone notice it's the same music from the colosseum in Symphony of the Night.

There's two games I need to play.

Here's an odd one: Shion's cellphone ringtone in Xenosaga is apparently the theme from Libble Rabble. Just another instance of Namco referencing their arcade games in newer console output.
