Mine neither (I'm where the Kotaku writer is at, too big).

Personally, I thought Namco would have been all over other licenses (comics, toys, cookware) than shoes, but when he put it in that context, their move makes perfect sense.I had no idea, until I started working at Journeys, just how intense the kids these days are about their kicks. They take that shit REAL seriously. Moreover, I had no idea 'til I started up there how much of a hipster store Journeys is....it's like the"cool" store in the mall. So this is actually a very savvy marketing move on NB's part.
That said, I won't be getting a pair. My feet are too big (by only a size, but still), and I can't see forking out $70-$80 for a pair of shoes I'll never wear. I will, however, archive all promo materials related to them on WM.
Now, if Namco sends me some for promotional purposes, that's different.
Oh, and as it turns out, Namco Bandai has released a new batch of screens and artwork to go with the official announcement: http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/61368
