    -------------------------------------------

Here's a really decent Mega Drive/Mega CD starter set. Why would someone want a Japanese Mega Drive/Mega CD if they already have a MD/CD or Genesis/CD system? Because a lot of games from '92 and later are region coded. Not only that, but EVERY Mega CD/Sega CD game is region locked and it's a huge pain to get around it without running back-ups on your system. Plus, if you're from North American, "Mega CD" looks a lot cooler than "Sega CD". :P

    Hardware:
    -Mega Drive System (model 1)
-Mega CD System (model 1) (yes... I do have the expansion slot cover for the MD)
    -AV hook-ups
    -Both Power Adapters
    -2x 3-button controllers

Software: (all games are boxed and all are CIB* except one)

    Mega CD:
    Final Fight CD
    Lunar: The Silver Star
    Shining Force CD
    Sol-Feace
    Sonic CD

    Mega Drive:
    Aladdin
    Chameleon Kid (Kid Chameleon)
Chibi Maruko-chan Waku-Waku Shopping (missing the manual)
    Der Langrisser
Dragon Ball Z: Buyuu Retsuden (re-sealed)
    F1 Grand Prix
    King Colossus
    J. League Champion Soccer
    Kyuukai Douchuuki (cute baseball game)
    Land Stalker
NHL Joe Montana II: Sports Talk Football ('92)
NFL Football '94 Starring Joe Montana
    Pachinko Kuunyan (pachinko!!!)
    Phelios (not pictured)
Pro Striker Perfect (J. League Soccer)
    Shining in the Darkness
    Shining Force
    Shining Force II
    Sonic the Hedgehog
    Sonic the Hedgehog 2
    Sorcerian
    Street Fighter II' Plus (SCE)
    Super Hydlide
    Super Monaco GP
    The Kick Boxing
    Thunder Force III (re-sealed)
    Thunder Force IV (re-sealed)
    Virtua Racing

US$350 plus shipping or best offer.

*CIB means box, instructions and game
**Everything works fine and has been tested many times (happily) by myself in the last year (except the sealed games, but I have personal copies of those so I'm not missing out).

    ----------------------------------------

I'm putting together another set with a boxed white Saturn. Stay tuned. This is not the final set yet!

(obsolete ad)Here's a boxed white Japanese model 2 Saturn set with 1(2?) controllers plus one boxed analog, all hook-ups, and a bunch of games. Asking US$100 plus shipping from Japan, OBO. Quite a few Sega classics in here, making this a very nice set for someone looking at getting into the Saturn (my personal favourite system, along with the PC Engine).

This would be shipped from Japan.

(this picture will be updated when I've got this set finalized!)

    The Saturn set WILL be:
-CIB white Saturn (Saturn box, hook-ups, controller (probably 2), manual, plastic bags)
    -CIB analog controller

The game list on the NEW set I'm making looks like this so far:
    Daytona USA
    Fighting Vipers
    NiGHTS
    Christmas NiGHTS
    Sega Rally
    Street Figher Zero (Alpha)
Street Fighter Zero 2 (Alpha 2)
Vampire Hunter (Night Warriors - Darkstalkers' Revenge)
    Virtua Fighter
    Virtua Fighter Remix
    Virtua Fighter 2
    Virtua Fighter Kids
    Virtua Cop

Plus: Parodius Deluxe Pack for $12 extra (or buy it alone for $15)

We've got Saturn Bomberman on the right, a sealed copy of Saturn Bomberman for Sega Net on the left, 2 analog controllers and 3 regular Saturn pads (none are boxed... I need to update the picture!). Asking $60 OBO plus shipping from Japan OBO.

I've also got a regular multitap (boxed) and can definitely put together another set (grey controllers, perhaps?) to go with this, or put them all together and get you a setup to play Bomberman with 10 players if you want (1 multitap supports up to 7 players, and 2 would get you 10 players). I can also get Bomberman Fight if someone wants.

    -------------------------------------------

I also have a Japanese Dreamcast system for sale. Hook-ups, 1 controller and 1 VMU is US$50 OBO. Ask about games, as I haven't made a set yet. Shipped from Japan.

I can also easily get Japanese Famicom, Super Famicom, Saturn, Nintendo 64, PS1, PS2 and Gamecube systems and some common games. Other systems and less common games (ie. PC Engine, Sega Mark III/Master System/Mega Drive, arcade sticks, N64 Hori mini controllers, Dreamcast fighting pads, etc.) are more difficult, but I'll put them up as I acquire them. Feel free to PM if you have any questions.

Default Rare Sega console and a Mark III

As you know, when most ads say "rare", it's something semi-common like Lunar: The Silver Star, Sega CD Snatcher, Panzar Dragoon Saga or something easy to find like that. Well, good luck finding a freakin' SG-1000 on e-bay. Heck, good luck finding one on youtube! There's the odd SG-1000 Mark II floating around youtube, but have you ever seen someone with the original? Here it is! The ORIGINAL Sega machine. For the record, the Master System was Sega's fourth machine. THIS was the first.

-SG-1000 system w/attached joystick (system has a few scratches on it, but is in fine working condition)
-Mark III (same condition as the SG-1000)
-Sega official AC adapter (works with both systems)
-Sega official RF switch (label has a rip, but it's all there)
-AV cables (the Mark III can use both AV and RF, while the SG-1000 is only RF)
-Sega official control pad (just added!) (works with both systems)
-Hori brand "SG Commander" control pad (New condition and boxed) (works with both systems)

    SG-1000 games
    -Home Mahjong (CIB)
    -Champion Soccer (CIB)
    -Champion Golf
    -Flicky
-Choplifter (Sega My Card... only works on the Mark III, as they SG-1000 has no card reader)

    Mark III/Master System games
    -Phantasy Star
    -Alex Kidd in Miracle World
    -Afterburner
    -Space Harrier

US$175 plus shipping for the lot. Paypay only. Shipped from Japan.

Daaaammmnnn, I'd be all over that SG-1000 if I had the cash. I have a couple of games for it, I've been looking for the machine for a couple of years.

The SG-1000 (on the left) came out THE DAY after the Famicom did! It was comparable to Atari 5200 graphics, which explains why the Famicom pretty much blew it away and why Sega upgraded the hardware rather quickly.

Atari really didn't to much of anything in Japan. They did release the 2600 here, although it was called the 2800.

    It's the fabled original SG-1000!!!

Well, it's been up for sale at Racketboy for a few weeks and it's now up here. A few people have been interested, but nobody has bought it yet. Maybe you will if it's still available when you've got some extra spending money? It's a novelty system more than anything, but then again... owning anything older than than a PS2 is as well!
