Default Brand New Digital Press Guide seventh edition

I just happened upon a box of Digital Press Guide book seventh editions, the red one.

These have been sold out for quite awile now, so if you have been searchig for one, now is your chance.

I have 4 brand new guides for $25 + $4 media mail shipping

and 2 books that I had out for display at MGC last year that have been thumbed though and have a little wear on the front and back but otherwise just like new. I will sell those for $20+$4 media mail shipping.

    Thanks, dave

I am very tempted to buy one, but knowing that a new and revised version should be out soon (I hope, theres a thread from 2007 where the last post was in Oct 2008 when the new guide was still being worked on, so I can only assume it will be sometime early 2010.)

What exactly does the book contain? That is, does it function as a buyers guide or a blue book for games?

Basically functions as a rarity guide now. It contains lists for basically everything until NES. The prices are generally off now, especially in the NES section, but its still quite a good resource. I've used it for years as my main checklist for NES. Plus it has a lot of interesting stuff such as anecdotes from DP contributors as well as the Lore section. Really handy guide that has served me well over the years.
