    Default Christmas retail computer games

With Christmas coming up I always like to dig into my collection of stuff and see what I may have missed Christmas-related.
This year I ran across a little gem, titled Special Delivery for the Atari 8-bit line (also on C64 and Sinclair ZX Spectrum). It's an arcade-style game where you play Santa trying to collect and sneakily deliver gifts before you die or the night ends. And the A8 version is easily the best version, in my opinion. Wish I had heard of this sooner, it's great for 5 minute plays, reminds me a lot of a 2600 game with a little more added.
I made a review of the game for my weekly review show, Lazy Game Reviews, which you can see below. I'll be looking at Xmas games each week this month. Any comments are welcome!

Special Delivery for Atari 8-bit Video Review

My question to you guys is this: are there any more Christmas games you'd recommend - for any system? I'll be looking at more with my video reviews this month (Holiday Lemmings, Duke: Nuclear Winter, Christmas Jazz Jackrabbit) but what about some others? I really like these "Seasonal" games because, well, they're just so odd. Even if the quality of some of them I've seen isn't always up to par.

Oh and I say "retail computer games" because I'm not referring to the many hacks of games (such as Santa's Boulderdash, which isn't bad)

First place I looked, thanks. I was asking for opinions, if you'd like to give them

    BAM 2!!

I don't think I've ever played a Christmas themed game but I thought you might find interesting the link above.

    heh ... Maria's Christmas box.

    Unrelated:

Step one ... put a hole in that box
    Step Two ...
    Step Three ...

This thread reminded me of all the video games I had to wait until Xmas for. I remember my C64 and Amiga game playing always revolved around Santa and my birthday. There were only three other people in the area who even had an Amiga. Only a dude who called himself 'The Shadow' had any cracked, trained, and copied floppies. Me and a dude named David Hill had Amiga 1000s but we both bought our games. Marauder II couldn't handle games like Shadow of the Beast.

Everyone had a C64. I remember having at least 100 pirated games for that computer. Even my dad would copy C64 games from co-workers. It was the only time where I remember him actively looking for some game. He had games for his TRS-80 and around that time got the family an INTV on which he played games like Utopia and Snafu all the time. After the C64 he became a workaholic ... never saw the man until I was back from NY.

As memory serves there was a Christmas-themed version of Jetpack out there.

Midway's arcade-only lightgun shooter Carnevil also has some holidays-themed stuff in one of the episodes as well. Playable in MAME but you need a hard drive image.

James Pond 2: Robocod also had many Christmas/winter themed levels.

    Yet another great one!

You get that Spectrum working, by the way? I kind of gave up getting one, it would have been like $100 after all of the converters and adapters.

Not yet working, no. I've tried all sorts of stuff... AC adapters, composite modding. And I don't know what's going on, so I'm still working on it.

    And thanks!

    Try using this for power:

    And this for video:

It's what I was going to do, but I decided against getting a Spectrum for now.
