    This just made my night.

Mega Man 9 was a blast, even though every level seemed to have one part that was insanely frustrating. 10 should be a ton of fun.

And by the way, the color schemes in the screen shots seem like Mega Man 3; 4 and 5 were indeed much brighter.

You know, I was thinking the same thing, and I wouldn't be surprised at all, although I imagine it'll probably be a late release if indeed it ends up happening.

We don't like to support downloadable content. It just encourages companies to ship unfinished games to the market, thereby artificially inflating the price.

Kupo, make sure you download this on your PS3, it is well worth the cash. Such a great game for the price. If you like retrogaming in the least bit, you will grab this!

Glad to see they're advancing visually, although I still think it's silly that they're not at least on par with 5 and 6. I get the whole idea of them looking like NES games, but there's no reason to not have them look like the best the NES had to offer.

I've been keeping my fingers crossed ever since Mega Man 9 was released that Capcom would make a 10th one. I AM SO HAPPY!!!!! I wonder if you'll be able to slide and charge up the Mega Buster in this one?

This reminds me of back when Capcom was releasing a new Mega Man game every year for the NES, and I'd always get my first glimpse of it in Nintendo Power magazine.

It might be a gradual advancement to keep up with the original idea, which was to make a new Mega Man based on MM2. Which implies that they might make more games after MM10.

If the goal was for Mega Man to look graphically advanced, they wouldn't be using 8-bit Mega Man, now would they?

And in Mega Man Powered Up for the PSP, if you put in a heck of a lot of work. (And Power Battles/Power Fighters, but let's not count those.)

Could this be the triumphant return of Duo?

And MM7 if you put in that fighting game code.

There's infinitely more to work with in terms of technology now than back when NES games were new. Konami's Rebirth games are similar quick, tight budget WiiWare projects, but they certainly don't look like NES games. Same goes for any half-assed 2D DS game. The look is purely intentional, and they could've just as well gone with visuals on par with the late NES Mega Man games without spending much more time or money had they wanted to.

If the goal was for Mega Man to look graphically advanced, they wouldn't be using 8-bit Mega Man, now would they?
Not graphically advanced in the grand scheme of things, just in terms of its own deliberate NES realm. The games can look "retro" and still be much more attractive than MM9.

Honestly, the naming of Mega Man 9 always bugged me. I mean, there is a 7 and 8 too, and it's weird for the 9th to take a step back. I feel like there probably could've been a more clever way to name these throwbacks. Maybe something like "Mega Man 2.5" for MM9 or something along those lines.

Hopefully it's an all original game and they don't rip parts of levels from past Mega Man games.

The only part they did that in Mega Man 9 that I can think of was the part in Splash Woman's stage with the floating bubbles (right out of Wave Man's stage in Mega Man 5).

QFT. And I don't know if it's Urzu, MM10 or the combo... But, I have to retrieve my jaw from the floor and place my eyes back in socket.

I just hope they include the 'features' in the main dl and forgo the nickel and dime shtick they presented us with 9.

Nice. A double-game disc release would be great, but I'd be happy with a discount on 9 to coincide with the release of 10. Either way, awesome news.
