I Don't know I like Mega Man 10 better than 9 mainly because it reminds me of the later Mega Man games 5 and 6 and stuff. i like the pretty graphics.

What's up with islands? Get more land.
What's up with deserts? Get less sand.
10 definitely takes after 4-6 with its level of detail and choice of colors. Having so many mini-bosses brings 4 to mind.
Something about the overal feel seems off in 9 and 10, if you compare them to 1-6. There's a bit too much contrast in visual style between some stages, and the new robot masters really don't feel like parts of complete sets. The other games had robot masters that looked like they belonged together.
I played some of the challenges just now, they made me smile. The game itself isn't as challenging, but these are going to keep me tossing my controller for a while. Great stuff!
i dont know if its been mentioned yet, but the third playable character is Bass.
And as I said "All it takes is pattern recognition and the ability to move when needed." I'm not saying Blade is easier than Sheep (which he's not), but if you can do one, there is no reason why you can't do the other, as Blade is basically a version of Sheep that moves around more.
Blade Man shoots three blades at a time that make a good portion of the screen dangerous to be in. Sheep Man's attacks only cover small areas at once. I find myself constantly jumping into those blades, rather than avoiding them.
It's still tough to doge his blades when he shoots from the side walls. I just got owned.
Thought I'd relax for a bit and play some MM10 on the couch. Not as relaxing as I thought it would be... >_<
Wily's Castle is much easier in this game than in MM9. Feels shorter, too. The first level, though, is especially awesome.
It sucks that this isn't out on the 360 until later this month.
I own all three systems, but I prefer my 360.
I'm not sure whats wrong with launching a title the same week for all systems.
I may have a time on the Blade Man leader board but as for playing the actual game I am playing Easy mode Proto Man.

I have to say, I'm curious about what it looks like on the other consoles. My Wii has a slight flicker on my CRT, but it's perfect on my LCD. Is the Wii the most friendly to CRTs, or would either of the others give me that NES-perfect picture?
It just feels so much better to play Mega Man on a CRT for me.
If you have a .. ahem. "Modded" Wii you can enjoy some of the forthcoming downloadable content before release time.
Bass is pretty cool he has his own shop screen with Reggae (Wily's pet Ostrich), and he plays mostly the same as he does in Rockman and Forte/Megaman and Bass. Dash, 7 directional shooting. The double jump is gone though.
The three special stages have the "Rockman Killer" bosses from Gameboy Mega Man 1/3/4, and it's possible to obtain their weapons as well.

Could you use the extra weapons in Story with all 3 characters?

You can get all weapons via code and the RK ones work with Megaman fine, and are pretty useful. The game will freeze if you give them to Bass and you use them, I don't think he's meant to have them. Haven't tried with Protoman.
I'm poking through the level select code modifiers this morning to try and find the bonus levels with the Rockman Killers properly.
Heres something for shiggles:
Oh and uhm.. woot 1000 posts apparently, lol.
Cool... There's never been an 8-bit Bass before, has there?

For the people that aren't scum, how long are we gonna have to wait, until the DLC is available?
