Default Vectrex repair guide? Or someone in San Diego county that can repair one?

I just picked up a Vectrex and it works fine but there are a couple of problems.

    1. The 2nd player port has bent pins, should be an easy fix by bending the pins back, but if they break, are they replaceable?

    2. All I get from my speakers is static, so those need to be fixed.

    3. there is also a small white dot in the middle of the screen.

Adjust the dial on the back of the system, it should go away.

i could probably repair it if you got the parts (i live in san diego) there are tutorials for fixing all kinds of vectrex issues. like that other guy said, the dot is the contrast being set too high, the controller port can be replaced if you break a pin trying to straighten it (it's just a standard DB-9 style connector) and i dunno what the sound issues are (bad capacitors maybe?)

Could just be crappy solder connections that need to be reflowed. I had a Vectrex, it died on me within an hour of playtime(screen went blank, no more sound). I sold it off along with all my games. I heard it was later repaired, it seemed it needed to have a ton of connections resoldered for some reason, I don't think any parts needed to be replaced.

It could be something else for this one if the graphics are still working, maybe it is the capacitors.

Well, this is silly but the sound works. I just didn't turn it up enough. XD

I fixed the pins, so the system is working great!
