The pro card is for use in a pce engine/ cdrom setup, or coregrafx/ cdrom setup. The duo card can only be used for a duo machine. The list of games is the same. You can only use the pro on the pce/ cdrom setup and can only use the duo on a duo machine, but both cards play the same games. So your actually just looking for a list of arcade games.

EDIT: i just double checked my guide and im right. Its too much trouble to go through all the games and pick out the like 10 games that are arcade games though.

I noticed you said you are trying to complete a Turbografx-16/Turbo Duo collection. If thats true then you don't need either card since they are part of the Japanese PC Engine collection.

What he said, I somehow skipped that little bit of info. But my post is still valid and slightly resembles roy's post.

Don't give out incorrect information. The Pro card will work with any CDROM system for PCE/TG, while the Duo version will only work with Duo/R/RX and the SUPER CDROM^2 unit (this a special addon unit with a built in Super CDROM 3.0 card). The Duo card is cheaper if you have the system for it, but Pro card will work in all setups.

Also, there aren't that many Arcade Card only games. Some games are listed as bi-compatible ACD/SCD. But they really don't offer much when the arcade card is used (sometimes you can't even tell). The games that specially require the arcade card, with the except of the crappy strider port which barely even touches the ACD expanded memory, are pretty noticeable in difference from SCD games.

Thats why I left the pce/cdrom part vague, to include the corgrafxes and separate cdrom attatchments, versus the the all in one duo's. I was not aware that the duo card could also be used on the super cdrom 2, I beleived that it only worked with duos. It makes sense though, as it already includes the 3.0 card inside, all it needs is the duo card and a pce to make it basically a duo system.

I don't think anyone's mentioned it yet... but if you intend on using an Arcade Card with a North American system, you will need an adapter.

Also, anything that requires the Super System Card will also work with an Arcade Card. If you're just starting out (which I know the OP isn't, but bear with me), it makes the most sense to just get an Arcade Card and not even bother with any of the other cards (unless you want to play Altered Beast of course).

Thanks, I'm using a Kisado with my DUO, using the Arcade DUO card. Just looking for the Arcade games I can enjoy with the Arcade Card.

Thanks, I'm currently using the Duo card with a converter, but I believe both Arcade cards will work on the DUO, because I tried my friend's.

    The end!
Not to derail the thread, but are those polygons in Sapphire actually produced on the fly? I assume they're just pre-rendered sprites, but I'm not sure.

Everything is pre-rendered. The only Turbo/PCE games that appear to render polygons on the fly are Falcon and Gunboat. Faceball does some 3D stuff, but I don't think that any of it is technically "polygons".
