Found most of this yesterday, but with all of my wild New Year’s partying (ie: board game marathon with my ladies), had to wait until today to post



It was a Halo swag day, as much of the stuff I found was Halo themed…the Arbiter figure I got on Amazon for $4.99 came in, and I found 7 Hunter figures NIB on closeout for $14 each at a Kmart. One stays with me, and the rest (currently going for about 40 bucks) will be sold or traded. Found a used Halo Trilogy soundtrack for $12.99 at a second hand store, another Halo Wars Mega Bloks Warthog for $6.99 at Goodwill, and 3 sets of 4 Halo Actionclix figures for 2 bucks each at a Blockbuster that is going out of business.

While at another Goodwill, I also picked up a pair of somewhat uncommon Genesis football games for 49 cents each, mint and complete…and raided the glass case for 5 shrinkwrapped Wii games for only $1.99 each. Capped off the day by treating myself to a 50% off Hallmark Galaga arcade ornament…$9.25.

Woke up early this morning, so I unboxed the Hunter, assembled the Warthog, and added them to the little Halo scene I have been building on top of my gameroom’s entertainment center…



Like everything else in my gameroom, not much room for future expansion – but I think I’ll hang the Hornet if I come across one of the Covenant Locusts coming out in 2010!

Damn Goodwill that's some awesome stuff. I'm completely envy of the John Madden 93 Championship Edition for sega genesis! That's one of the last 60 or so genny games I'm searching for to complete the collection.

Yeah, I would never pay $30 for it, just seemed weird that a genesis sports game was going for so much. I'll have to look out for it.

John Madden 93 Championship Edition

Look for Mutant League Football and Hockey too. They're not that rare but fetch a decent amount of money.
