Default which 6 button pc engine pad to choose

I need to get a 6 button pc engine but I need help choosing. So far I found three different models. Here's my pros and cons of each one so far, if you can add some first person experience that would be great since I can only go by how they look.

    AVENUE PAD 6

    pros:
Looks the most like a regular pad
Official pad (at least I think it is)
    Easy to find
can be had for cheap if patient
    cons:
    Looks uncomfortable
It doesn't look like all buttons have turbo switches
    Ugly color scheme

    Hori FIGHTING COMMANDER

    pros:
Looks like a snes controller and I love the way those feel
    All button have turbo switches
    Looks pretty nice
    not too expensive

    cons:
Won't feel like a pc engine pad
Button I and VI share the same turbo switch
    Won't match my pce duor
    not easy to find

    Duo RX pad

    pros:
Looks like a PC-FX controller and those feel real nice and are comfortable
All buttons have a turbo switch
    Official pad
    Would match my Duo R

    cons:
    Hard too find
    Can be expensive
    Yellows easily/hard to find a non-yellowed one

So what do you guys think. Which should I choose? Are there any more pads I missed?
Where's my chippy? There's my chippy.

Does it fell like a SNES pad?

Not sure, I haven't held an SNES pad in awhile. I will tell you it's leaps and bounds more comfortable than the Ave. 6.

The RX is the most comfortable of the three, but the d-pad sucks.

I LOVE my Ave 6 pads. They are def comfortable to use. I have never used the RX pad, but abyone I've talked to that has one dislikes it (especially the d pad).

I have both the Avenue Pad and the RX one.

I really like the Ave one but the RX one sucks. D-pad is way to stiff.

The Duo-RX pad is very comfortable, but the d-pad is VERY stiff. Since its a PCE controller, you're going to be wanting a nice d-pad.

shmups with stiff d-pads = thumb doom.

The Avenue 6 is an awesome controller. Great d-pad, very responsive. You don't need turbo for EVERY button anyways. Few games actually USE all 6 buttons, and do you really need turbo for fighters?

The hori one isn't bad either, but why bother when the ave6 is so easy to find.

I gotta disagree with those saying the RX pad is comfortable. I'd say it's a big pile of dung all around. Uncomfortable and an absolutely god awful d-pad. Considering the main reason to have a 6-button controller is for fighters, the RX completely fails at its purpose since you'll be fighting with it the whole time you attempt to pull off moves. I have an RX system so I'd keep it just for having the matching controller, but it almost never sees any use.

My Avenue Pad 6, however, sees constant play. Extremely comfortable to hold and use, great precision with the d-pad for fighters, and it makes a great all around controller for any kind of game. These two controllers are the only ones I have, so I have to use the Avenue Pad 6 even for 2-button games but I have zero complaints with it.

The RX pad is comfortable to hold and pretty nice to use for games like Cosmic Fantasy where you have minimal D-Padding

They got it right with the FX-PAD though

Yea Avenue Pad 6 is tops. Its light and sturdy, and feels just right. No complaints.

Glad you finally made a decision on buying both the first and second choices you listed. It was getting annoying reading the same thread on at least three different websites.

Then again, I have the same buy/sell thread on a few sites... so I guess I'm a hypocrite!

My site of choice Racketboy just didn't really have a lot of responses, I guess not many PC-Engine users there. This site seems to have the most helpful responses. Even though I found this cool link from a guy at assembler.

I never knew that had those arcade sticks for the PC-Engine. They look awesome.
