I found an SNES Kiosk on CL today... only $150. Appears to need a thorough cleaning, but the owner says it all works. I'm going to go check it out tomorrow... I think it's worth it, but am interested in your opinions.

It is WELL WORTH $150 if it works. Be sure to look for a working top light, original SNES System and original monitor (ie- not a TV but a special SNES monitor)
Well, the d-bagger and I set up a meeting for me to look/pick it up tomorrow at noon. He sold it tonight and sent me a note saying "sorry, someone came by and bought it tonight with cash in hand".
Oh well, there goes my great find of the month. It did have everything and worked well. THe monitor needed to be adjusted but was orginial. Overall, the thing needed to be cleaned badly.
Im so pissed.

That sucks. Lesson learned, if you can't get there that day, don't count on it being a lock. People on CL are pretty much looking to get rid of shit fast.
I found a lot of multiple systems and games for $50 around 11am on a Saturday. I told him I'd pick it up at 5pm that day. I call before I leave "and his wife sold it before he got home from work". I'd like to think that's extreme, but if it's a deal, don't put it past people to offer more and get there faster to snatch it away.
