    Default DOSBox-Running physical games?

I've been having problems running physical floppies and CDs, I mount the drive, search the floppy/CD for an install program, and it runs. However, when I try to tell it to install to the C: drive, it says there's an error.

    Help?

I've installed Ultima 8 through DOSBox... the only error I've ever had, is the install program yelling at me that there is insufficient hard disk space (I assume that's only because some programs don't know how to recognize larger/modern hard disks... the available space is so far beyond what is expected they "overflow" into a "not enough space" warning). Even after the warning though, it still allowed the install (for me, for that program, anyways).

Perhaps the game you are trying to install hits an error if it registers a false "insufficient hard disk space" condition? Perhaps there's some way to limit how much hard disk space DOSBox is allowed to recognize?

I still never solved this problem, does anyone have a solution? Mounting a disc drive works, but the game always says there isn't enough space on the C: drive.

Why not just copy the disc manually to the hard drive and try to run it off that?
