Default Seeking an rca to vga adapter

I have an extra 19" computer monitor that takes vga in as well as 1/8" headphone in - what device can I use to connect my old systems like NES, Genesis, Atari 2600, etc? I did some searching but ended up with nada

im not TOO keen on this sort of thing, but I'm pretty sure you either wont be able to easily, or will have to spend a fairly heft amount of cash to get it going.

Yeah but how good do these things work at taking a 240p input and scaling it? Ive been planning to get one of these or a more advanced model ive had my eye on for my hdtv that has vga in, but dont want to blow 150 bucks on something that's gonna suck. I wouldnt want to scale it to 1080p just the minumum my hdtv takes (800x600). The one im looking at says itll take 240p correctly, I just hope its right.

Plus ebay is your friend, you can get models like the one posted or just plain cables that reroute/repin the signals, or more advanced per pixel scalers.

I bought one of these several years ago to use with my old projector. Became kinda useless when everything went digital, but I still use it at my church with a small LCD as an outbound video preview. A game console could hook up to the unit via s-video, composite, or through the RF connections.

thanks everyone - I thought it would be easier (stupid I know) - maybe I'll just buy an old TV off craigslist and an RCA splitter
