That's basically a who's who list of game developers right there. Cerny deserves it, IMO.

It seems he has been with alot of companies at very crucial times when I actually liked those studios. Seems that the magic follows this man or indeed this man is the magic itself.

    Quite interesting.

Btw, I noticed he is tied to God of War 3 which should be amazing. Definetely some insight going on there cause the demo is great.

Why are Richard Garriott, Hironobu Sakaguchi, and Will Wright on the list? It's like getting an award for creating different versions of the exact same game(slight sarcasm but you guys get the idea.)

People like Shigeru Miyamoto, Yu Suzuki, Sid Meier, and John Carmack are actually deserving of such an award though. John Carmack not so much as yeah it's just FPS games, but the advancements to them yeah, and Doom was the first FPS online(I think. Or the engine was the first to get online or something like that.)

    *edit*

Btw. Not bashing the developers. I like the FF series, like Ultima, and I like, well, Sim City and Sim City 2000. I just don't think they've done much for gaming.
