XBox 360 Limited Edition Consoles

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could comment on how many different limited edition XBox 360's are out there. Which ones are the rarest? I'm thinking about picking one up and wanted to get some idea of my options.

The halo green one, the red RE5 one, the mw2 one, the yellow simpsons one (rare), thats all I got from the top of my head.

There's a 360 with The Dark Knight branding that was distributed via a contest I think. Don't know much about it beyond that though.

There are so many. I have seen easily 20 different contest only LE 360 systems, both painted for new games or new movies. There is no rarest - just ones you can get in stores that are dirt common (Halo 3, MW2) and those you get in contests which usually number no more than 10 a piece.

Agreed.

There are expensive bundles, such as the Blue Dragon First Edition bundle (NTSC-J). I wouldn't call it "rare" - just hard to come by at a decent price.

In store 'LE's' for the US market

Halo 3
Modern Warfare 2
Resident Evil 5
Not to mention all the seasonal LE's that come with specific game pack-ins.

All the others are either 1 off's or no more than a handfull made and there are a HUGE number of those. I've seen those made for TV shows, movies, game releases, XBL features.

It really is an unweildy beast.
