Default Is it safe to use other people's wii save files ?

Hi guys. Is it Is it safe to use other people's wii save files ? I see alot of ebay auctions for 100% unlocked save files for games. They send you the file and you transfer it onto a sd card then load it onto the wii. I dont want to lock up my wii or anything. Thanks

Why would you pay for a save file?

Go to Gamefaqs and download them instead. I can guarantee that's what the Ebay sellers did.

Not only that... but there's no reason to think that you would have any problems with using others' normal save files. Using hacked channels and stuff, now that may be another story, but I haven't heard anyone being banned/locked out for even doing that.

Thanks guys, What i wanted to do is get a 100% unlocked file for house of the dead overkill so i can use all the guns. The point/ money earning process is pretty slow once you have beaten the game. You have to top your own score on any given levle to earn cassh for new guns. Since theres only 5 levles i dont want top play it 100 times to unlock some good guns. Thanks for the replys guys.

It's totally not safe; I once downloaded some wii saves and the next thing I knew...BAM, I got herpes.......

    Seriously, nothing will happen.

No. If you use other people's save files, Hiroshi Yamauchi will come to your house with a golf club and smash everything you own:

I was unaware that you could download save files. Actually I just never really thought of doing it before. So I searched ebay and found this guy that has probably made over 1000 bucks in the past month doing this. Although this guy does send them to you on a SD card. But looking at his feedback people know what they are buying and are happy with their purchase. I just can't believe people are buying these files when they can get them for free.

Yeah, I actually bought 2 bootleg SD cards about a year ago that I could never get to work on my Wii.

But still this guy is making some good money selling these.
