I had this game on Atari back in the day and it was one of those games I never finished. That being said did anyone here complete this and would you be kind enough to share your thoughts on it?

That game was always an enigma to me as a kid, I never got it with the manual and really had no clue what you were sopose to do (back in the pre-internet days) I recently picked up a boxed copy of it but sadly no manual. someday i'll figure it out ;-)
Oh yeah, I managed to finish it. It wasn't all that hard. You could only proceed so far North until you were stopped at a building. If you offer a certain item there, you can proceed. You kept doing that at the next couple of buildings until the game was over. The instructions really helped you out, giving you not-entirely-subtle hints on what to offer.
I always wished for more games like this on the 2600. It had a good deal of originality, and a nice amount of complexity for a game running in 4K of memory on a primitive machine like the VCS. It would have been nice if other game programmers would have made knock-offs of stuff like Adventure and Riddle of the Sphinx instead of the countless clones of Demon Attack or Defender.
maybe i'm wierd, but I want to come across the original manual at some point in my travels before I read it online.
