    Default Commodore 128D Questions

Hey guys, I am the lucky winner of an eBay auction for a Commodore 128D in supposedly non-working condition. However, I did not notice that the auction did not include the power supply or the keyboard (although by some miracle they may come with it). Any ideas on replacement for these two parts? Googling hasn't helped too much, although I did find a page with links to modding keyboards.

Thanks in advance for the answers!

The 128D has an internal power supply, so you only need a standard 3-prong power cord. The keyboard is a bit tougher, but I found this discussion of someone trying something similar:

    Good luck!

That's great news about the power supply! Once I searched for a 128D power cord it was easy to confirm.

I found the same page for the keyboard, it seems to be the best lead out there. I'm still holding out hope that I'll stumble across a separate keyboard, but building an adapter is the most feasible solution.

Of course, there's also the prospect of the upcoming MMC Replay cartridge, but I'd rather not plug my keyboard into the cartridge port.

Oh, and thanks for the response, it's helped a lot!
