A friend told me of a store about 2 miles away from our college campus that sells older games so we took a little ride up there. I got:

    Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense (complete) - DreamCast - 6.99
    Sonic Spinball - Genesis - 4.99
    Ice Climbers - NES - 2.99
    Dodge 'em - Atari 2600 - 1.99

Maybe someone can help ID these for me...

Found these at a thrift store today. I don't even know what most of them are. A couple are bootlegs, I know that. Of course, there was this other guy filling his arms with these, too and he got away with 8-9, also. But I think some of his were sports and mahjong games.

All but two of the last 3 have Romaji, so it's not hard to determine the titles.

    Battle Squadron
Sora Kiba: Operation Code Vapor Trail
    Dangerous Seed
    Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair
    Burning Force
    Raiden Trad
    ???
    ???
Musha Aleste: Full Metal Fighter Ellinor

    Very nice lot of games...

I really can't tell which ones are bootlegs from your photos, but I'll help ID them for you. Is Battle Squadron a bootleg?

    1.Battle Squadron
2.Sora Kiba: Operation Code Vapor Trail
    3.Dangerous Seed
    4.Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair
    5.Burning Force
    6.Raiden Densetsu/Raiden Trad
    7.???
    8.Kujaku Ou 2
9.Musha Aleste: Full Metal Fighter Ellinor

I'll keep looking for the one I couldn't find yet.

I have the US version of this I hadn't looked at the book close enough, I guess. I don't mind that it's a bootleg, now.

I got my Sam and Max Season One Bonus Disc from Telltale Games today ($5.70 shipped), and I also picked up some big band CDs from the flea market, but that was pretty much it.

Battle Squadron looks like a boot, Raiden Trad is another guess of mine to be a boot. (needs smaller photos [data wise] of cartridges to be sure)
The 3rd last game (#7) is Daisenpuu aka 'Twin Hawk' in PAL regions. Not a bad shooter but because of the screen squashing makes it much more frustrating than it should be, pretty hard otherwise (one of Toaplan's hardest). Also it's Kuuga Vapor Trail, not Sora Kiba. Same Kanji different meaning. Nice score all the same, especially on MUSHA Aleste, one of the best shooters on the system, some would say.

    Whaddya mean invalid parameters?!

9,000 gigs of ram and it still can't answer a simple question!

Yeah, looks fine. It's just hard to tell from the cover and that I've never owned NTSC-J Raiden Trad to confirm. If you have time (and can make the images smaller) show the other cartridges if you're interested to verify (everything pardon Battle Squadron which is definitely a boot) if they are also legit. Your call and thanks.

Are you sure? I took the name from the rarity guide here. If it is a mistake the guide should be fixed.

Stopped into a GameStop a couple days ago and found a few titles of interest.

    PS2 - Mad Maestro! (complete) ($1.99)
    PS2 - OutRun 2006 Coast 2 Coast (complete) ($2.99)
    PS2 - Steambot Chronicles (complete) ($5.99)
GBA - Final Fight One (loose) ($1.99)
GBA - Lunar Legend (loose) ($3.99)

I already have copies of Mad Maestro and OutRun 2006 but I couldn't pass them up for so little. I'll probably give them to my brother. Steambot Chronicles is a game I was looking forward to for quite some time but never ended up buying a copy, it was a nice surprise to come across. The insert is a little beat up on the lower corners and there's a bit of a GameStop price sticker induced tear on the spine but no big deal. I'll easily get two bucks of entertainment out of Final Fight One and Lunar Legend is another game that I never got around to playing. I actually imported a Japanese copy JUST before it was announced that it would be localized, so I never really played more than 20 minutes in.

Scrumptious eBay finds! (Posted in the import section too.)

    Tales of Phantasia ($14.50)

Maken Shao LE w/postcard and hologram card ~ Blood+: One Night Kiss
    ($5.50 and $15.00)

I reported this find back in December, but never got around to posting a pic.
Its complete and ended at $56.
    In Heaven, everything is fine.

Hit a TRU bargain bin and picked up:

    Mountain Bike Adrenaline (PS2) $5.00
    EndWar (PSP) $5.00
    Blokus (PSP) $5.00
    SpyBorgs (Wii) $5.00

I like the board game Blokus, so I'm sure I'll play the PSP version. Spyborgs is by Capcom and is a 2-player only fighter/shooter? Sounds like something my kids would enjoy. Mtn. Bike is for a neighbor who recently asked "why isn't there a mountain biking game?" And Endwar is one I just finally wanted to pickup, but am expecting it to suck.

It's hard for me to top that NES lot I bought a few weeks back, but I feel I did come fairly close (Though it isn't quite as massive and spetacular as that NES lot):

    - Project Gotham Racing 2 (Xbox. Best of Platinum Hits version, complete & near mint): $5
    - Mickey Mousecapade (NES. In box. Box is a bit rough, while the cartridge in near mint condition): $2
    - The Wizard of Oz (Super NES. CIB. Box is partially crushed and the cover of the instructions has a small crease on the cover, but the cartridge and poster are in mint condition): $2

I got lucky with my gaming finds; I had been trying to find a copy of PGR2 ever since I got my 360 (It's surprisingly hard to find around here), and finding The Wizard of Oz was the icing on the cake; the game looks like it was probably only played once and then stored in it's box for ages. In fact, the receipt from when it was bought new at EB Games back in 1993 was included as well.

    Non-gaming finds:
    - Star Trek: Insurrection (DVD. 2-disc Special Edition in it's original, pointlessly large case): $3

While out, I randomly stumbled onto the DVD of the only Star Trek movie to date I have not seen, and for much less than it typically goes for used on Amazon last time I looked. Very nice...
