Default List of classic-comp usable monitors (Now with an actual usable list!)

    This is driving me nuts.

I'm looking to get an all-encompassing solution and my google-fu is apparently weak today. What monitors can reach 15kHz horizontal sync w/ RGB? The obvious ones are:

    Apple IIgs monitor
Amiga line monitors (1084, 1084S, etc...)
    Atari SC1224

Then there's a few LCD monitors that can...

    NEC Multisync
    Multisync II
    Multisync 3D/3DS

is this really it? Aren't there more to be had?

I'd ideally like to have two LCDs hooked up - one would be for my top end PC, the other hooked up to a switch so any and all retro comps can be hooked up to it. Are there more than the Multisync line, or are there even CRTs I'm missing out of the top list?

There doesn't seem to be much around my area that I can easily nab, this is beginning to be a headscratcher.

EDIT: See my post further down - BE got their own list, over 100+ usable monitor/projectors!

They aren't exactly computer monitors specifically, but the Sony PVM and NEC XM series CRT monitors support 15khz RGB. I use an NEC XM29 personally, I'll probably get a 20 inch PVM to perma-tate for my vertical pcbs.

I believe there is an Epson LCD monitor capable of 15 khz too but the owner of it on here never posted the info on its model number and my attempts to google it up failed.

Trust the Atari nuts to work this thing out...

best electronics has a nice HUGE list of 15 kHz h-sync capable monitors. Anything RGB will work brilliantly with these (assuming correct cable and whatnot)

Only problem is that there's no sorting between legit monitors and projection systems. But if you can get a cheap projection system and you have a big enough wall - what the hell, right?

That's an excellent list. I had it bookmarked before on my (currently dead) laptop so it's nice to have that again.

Looking it over again, that Mitsubishi MegaView Pro 37 looks pretty excellent for low res gaming application (15khz). I'll probably just get one of those and perma-tate my XM29 instead.
