I would suggest opening up your controller, cleaning the components and resituating the parts correctly. There are tutorials on how to open up the controller, depending on if it's Wireless or Wired (Wireless required a Torx T8, I think, and Wired is standard jeweler star)

Wireless is a Torx Security Bit 8 if I memory is correct. Make sure you get the security bit, or it wont work. Also, the first time I ordered security bits, the bit itself was too wide to make it all the way into the screw on two of the holes. Be sure to check before you buy

On the subject of security torx, I was in Autozone the other day buying a new radiator. While I was waiting for the guy to pull it out of the back, I checked out the tools section and I found a really neat set of security torx drivers all hooked together sort of like a leatherman. They were all about 3 inches long, so they'd be great for gaming repairs. I plan to go back and get one at some point. This is not the exact same one, but it's really close.

The analog stick is a complete assembly, you'd have to steal one from another controller. It's usually not worth the trouble.
