Default WTB - Retro Gamer 71

I can't find Retro Gamer 71 at any newstand near my house. If you are through with your copy and would like to sell it to me, please send me a PM.

    Thanks.

I don't mean to threadjack, 8bit, but is it even out? We've had so much snow here lately that I haven't made my monthly excursion to Barnes & Noble. Every time I've called the store to ask about whether a certain issue of Retro Gamer is out before, they either act like I'm speaking French or they're just too damned lazy to check the shelf.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

It's out. It came in to my local Barnes & Noble last weekend. Just be aware that a number of Barnes & Noble stores have reduced their magazine inventories in the last month and at least two of my local stores no longer carry Retrogamer per the store managers. I would get a subscription, but I have been burned so many times by folding magazines that I am hesitant to spend the $80.

In 2+ yrs of my Retro Gamer subs not once have I ever got a folded/damaged one. They come in plastic wrappers w/ warnings "do not fold"/etc. Plus you get them around the same time the UK does, a month or so ahead of the USA. Well worth the $$$ IMO.\

I was just between subscriptions & missed the Gradius issue (#71?) so I planned to search my 2 closest B&Ns (Woodbury & the MoA) each week. I called this past Friday & the clerk said they had just gotten #71, so I had them hold it & went right over there.

    Post of the day!

He's not talking about a bent cover, he's talking about the company going out of business.

PM sent about #71, Mayhem. Hopefully we can figure something out. If not, does anyone else have a lead on a spare copy of #71? I got to B&N today and they had #72 on the shelf.

Ooohhhhh- um, my bad I guess. That statement could easily be taken both ways- when I hear someone talking about the mail & "folded" I think about it being damaged. Plus I've heard that concern voiced before, about mags being damaged thru the mail, esp. RetroGamer, coming all the way from England you know.

IMO I dont think RG is in danger of "folding" anytime soon. There's a rabid UK fanbase (not to mention here) plus the EIC briefly mentions how stoked people are for #100 already.
