Chrono Cross sucked. It's was filled with a ton of Square's psycho-babble bullshit that's about as deep as a leaky shower. I love games with a ton of available characters, but not when character development is reduced to giving everyone a shitty dialect. Sloppy dog? And why was Kidd an Australian Jackie Gleason ("To the Moon!")? Did that make sense to anyone?

Chrono Cross was a sad attempt to follow up on an otherwise great text adventure (radical dreamers) and a pathetic cash-in on the popularity of Chrono Trigger.

Honestly, I don't understand the whining about topics changing subject as of late. It's one thing if a topic comes completely out of left field, but it's another if a topic slowly evolves into other areas. One of the things I like best about this forum is that, other than some broad categorization, we're free to talk about what we please. We're not limited to solely discussing one system or one game like on many other boards. And it's when topics evolve that we often get interesting discussions going, rather than bare-bones answering of topic questions (and face it, most people don't even read the previous answers to a topic's question when making their own; the fact that I usually do read them makes that obvious to me).

And seriously, all this so-called "off-topic" stuff has been logical. Castlevania 2, a game that's often hated just because of other people's hate, is discussed in a topic about hating games for the sake of hating them. Wow, what a surprise. Chrono Cross, an RPG that doesn't have much value, is discussed as to why it may not have much value in a topic about why some RPGs have value. I never saw that one coming. When a topic is genuinely derailed, gimme a call.

Beyond the Beyond for Playstation does not suck. It is one of my top favorite, most underrated games of all time. I beat the game 10 times and I'm not stopping there

You know, I created 8 gameshark codes for the game that work but they are not posted anywhere online. They modify the characters' in battle sprites so they appear gigantic and are as tall as the screen. If you use it on more than one of your characters at once it looks totally wrong in battle especially the way the characters bounce up and down to keep their battle energy flowing. I should show it on youtube...
