What planet are you guys from (where stores keep "records" for 25-30 years)?

    People kill me.

No kidding. But you've got to admit thinking that you could just call Tuesday Morning and ask them for a list of suppliers from 1982 is pretty naive.

Not only that, but even if said mythological database existed, how would you be able to track down the correct supplier?

A company like Men A Vision can't sell the rest of their games, so they try to at least break even by selling the rest of their stock to a resale distributor. The resale distributor then finds a resale wholesaler who will then sell the stock to different customers- places like Dollar Tree, Big Lots, Tuesday Morning, etc.

So, say Tuesday Morning supplies a list of all the wholesalers they bought from in 1982. Out of that list of probably thousands of companies, you would then have to determine which distributor the wholesaler purchased from. Then you would have to contact the right distributor and find out if they have any record of Men-A-Vision.

It's literally a paper trail that you will never get to the end of. However, I salute anyone with the balls to just call up the store and ask them for a list of wholesalers that sold them Air Raid almost thirty years ago.

Somebody in the Atari Age Air Raid thread said he sent Tuesday Morning an e-mail asking just that. They politely replied and said they have no records of that long ago.
