    Default April 2010 Finds

I found my sanity at a Sharis at 2am. For only a few people on here know what I do during my days. I am currently on month 5 of being open. I opened my own store in Kelso, WA. I sell nothing but classic games and records for a living. I am opened Tuesday through Saturday 12-8. Even after work I am there. I am starting the month with my finds or trade in's for the shop Ogre Battle and Harvest Moon for SNES. I will be posting more stuff as the month goes on because I like telling people what weird and vintage stuff that comes into the shop. I am going to go now and drink my Dr. Pepper.

Awesome deal on the display stuff. I wish I was able to do something like that...I need display stuff for my game room. It looks pretty sad right now with tons of games on display, but nothing to spice it up

I just got a (mostly) CIB NES Miracle Piano in the mail today. I've yet to open it up, but it should be in good condition.

What a surprise! Price sticker on label sticker action for 3 of the 4 SNES games. I'll never understand why it's so hard to just affix the stickers on the non label part of the carts.

Guy walks in to my PC shop and says he has some Nintendo stuff for sale. I tell him to bring it in... usually people see my sign about buying Nintendo NES and they'll bring in a beat up N64 or something.

This guy walks in with 131 NES games, these cool holders, and manuals for ALL the games!!

Offered him $100, he took it.

Some GREAT titles in there too! Going to keep what I need and sell the rest.

There are some very nice items in there. I see a Blue Bible Adventures sitting in that pile, along with Godzilla.

Picked up the following from Play-N-Trade today before getting called into work. I had plans today that included raiding a local import shop that's closing down...but that's not going to happen

    Dreamcast
    Centipede - $5
    Seventh Cross: Evolution - $5

    Saturn
    Croc - $10

    Misc
Breath of Mana (Dawn of Mana Soundtrack) - ???

Picked up a couple of other things that I can't recall atm because I'm at work. I'll edit the post once I head back.

What's up with islands? Get more land.
What's up with deserts? Get less sand.

Default An interesting thrift store find.

I found one of these at a thrift store tonight:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-1935-Pre...item4ceeb5f48f

I don't know if it is worth what the seller wants for it - but it is a neat piece and I don't plan to sell it anyway. By far the best thing I have found in the last few months - things have been pretty dry at the thrift stores (at least around here).

I also found the first two dvd sets of "Pinky and the Brain" and a japanese dvd set of the BBC miniseries "Napoleon". Plus a few other odds and ends.
When I come home from a long day in Hell, there's nothing I'd rather reach for than a fire-brewed bottle of Styx Beer. Made from the filthiest waters from our own River Styx. Styx Beer is a third more toxic than any other regular beer. The worst beer - the filthiest beer - the deadliest beer. It's Styx Beer!

Isn't that just for video game stuff?
