Had an excellent garage sailing day this morning. My first find of the day, at the very first sale I stopped at was:

NES system w/ RF adaptor (No controllers/AC adaptor )
Genesis Mortal Kombat, Spider-Man/X-Men, Sonic 2, Star Trek: Next Generation, 32X Star Wars Arcade (all CIB)
PC King's Quest: Mask of Eternity
NES Cobra Triangle, Mad Max, Metal Gear?!, Gauntlet II, Skull & Crossbones (all loose)

    $15 for all.

Found these at various sales across the day:

PC Mario Teaches Typing 2, Mechwarrior 2, 360 Bigs (Sealed), Bulbasaur keychain- $3, and the Snoopy was free with any purchase.

GB Kirby's Dream Land, Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan, Pokemon Blue, Star Wars, Battle Arena Toshinden- .50 each

PS2 Sims (no manual), Ghost Rider DVD- $1 each

I expected the NES bundle to be my find of the day, but then I stumbled upon this beauty:

Atari 7800 system w/ box, 2 controllers, AC adaptor, and 2600 Galaxian- $15

Asked about games at a random sale (the very last one I planned on stopping at) and the guy told me he might have "an original Atari in the box" and asked me if I'd be interested. I told him of course, and he went to go dig it out of the basement. I expected him to bring out a 2600, but I was surprised when it turned out to be a 7800, a system I've been looking for!

It looks to be in excellent shape, although there weren't any actual 7800 games to go with it. I left my email & phone number with the guy in case he finds some more games for it that he thinks he has.

By far the best find I've had in a while!

I haven't seen that Rainbow Six CE in quite a few years.

Picked up quite a few things over the weekend and one more day to go yet.

Some of the items I found today...

    Scurge: Hive (GBA) $5
Yu Yu Hakusho: Spirit Detective (GBA) $1.25
    Tekken Advance (GBA) $2.50
    All were CIB

    Also found...

    Viewpoint (Genesis) $3
    Labyrinth (DS) $8
Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ (DS) $13
    Ridge Racer DS (DS) $5

The DS games were B2G1F from Trade N' Play, the guy discounted off the Labyrinth instead of the Ridge Racer.

It is like it or hate it game. I find it to be neat because it is like Quake with puzzle. The creator of the game simply push the DS to it's limit. I can't wait for the Dementium II.

Just for reference my local flea is 10 minutes away.
The Trader's Village I'm referring to is in Arlington, smack dab between Dallas and Fort Worth, and is only ten minutes away from me. I don't like going there too much, especially since so many people go there and scoop up all the classic gaming stuff before I get there. Although I did find an Atari 2600 with around 15 not-too-common games with it, and a GameWave DVD player with six remotes. I didn't need any of it, so I left it.

Going over to fix my brother's computer tonight, I hit his local Movie Trading Company and found some Atari games. Turns out I already have Turmoil, Air Raiders, and Adventures of Tron. I really need to break down and catalog my collection in the Video Game Trader iPod Touch/iPhone app so this kind of thing will happen less.

struck gold with garage sales and rummage sales saturday. literally filled our entire van to the ceiling. Got a little bit of everything, lots of gaming stuff, electronics, cds, you name it. I am going to try and post pics if i have time. I passed on a top loader nes and about 15 games for $30. The games were all junkers, I offered $25 and she wouldnt take it so i passed. It was sitting in the rain and was pretty beat up, otherwise i would of grabbed it. Some highlights are 2 nes systems, many boxed genesis games, n64 games, nes games, 2 sp systems, a bunch of atari games, a box of nintendo first party accessories for nes and snes, just to name some.
    Autobots. Roll out.

Last night we (katchoo and I) went to Conan O'Brien's 'Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television' Tour in San Francisco. Besides having Chris Issak sitting behind us (I mean right behind us) we rawked out and had a great time. At the end when Conan and the Legally Prohibited band (the Max Weinberg 7 minus Max) were playing '40 Days' huge yellow balls were sent out into the crowd. Then and there I made a command decision.

Nice find! For some reason, ever since I picked up a 7800 a few weeks back, I've been really eager to see it in action. Unfortunately, mine did not come with a power supply. When I get the time, I'll have to either make one or add a barrel jack to the system so I can use something that's already lying around. That original power adapter is tough to find.

Anyway, good score! Love that it came with the box.

Oh, I'm sorry for making that comment then. I didn't realize there was more than one Trader's Village. The only one I'm familiar with is in Grapevine, which I had some excellent luck there when I went there years ago.

I hit my local flea (Tresure City flea market in Waco, TX, btw) and I found a stack of various Family Guy discs from volume collections (6 total from vol 1-3), and get this: a real Kitsune Sniper buy, The aptly titled The Adult Version of Jekyll & Hyde, which was bought mostly because it's a Something Weird DVD release and they do all sorts of crazy interesting stuff.

The movie's tagline: "A tale of hex and sex rated X"

    That was all $5.

Forgot to mention, yesterday I got a Pioneer LD player, model CLD-980 for a whole $2. Dunno if I'm keeping this one, since it's the first one I've ever seen at a garage sale. On eBay it's only worth like $20. Even though the price was cheap it works.

The Adult Version of Jekyll & Hide? Freakin' awesome. The director's last name is the same as my first name and the User Review of "Nudity Can't Save This One" means that I'll have to rent it. My fiancee loves those kinds of horrible trainwreck movies. Plus, it's Belgian and from the late 70s. >.<

I would post my finds, but if I stop to take pictures instead of working on organizing my room, my room wouldn't get done. Suffice to say:

    Flea Market:
    NDS
Game & Watch Collection (Japan) CIB - $15 from a Vendor

    Sega Saturn
    15 Sega Saturn games, CIB
Virtua Cop 2 copy that I was replacing my copy with (needed the manual) ended up having the NFR Virtua Cop 2 copy in it, so I got a separate game and I have an extra Virtua Cop 2 case.

    Xbox
    4 games, CIB
I picked up my missing Halo: Combat Evolved copy from the vendor. He gave me a non NFR GOTY Edition with what appears to be a non-GOTY disk. What're the various variations for the disk art?

    GameCube
    These were the interesting finds.
Mr. Driller: Drill Land - $12.95
    Kururin Squash! - $12.95
    Cubivore - $24.95
    Resident Evil 0 - $12.95
Legend of Zelda w/ Master Quest - $26.95
    Resident Evil 3: Nemesis - $24.95
SeaWorld Adventures: Shamu's Deep Sea Adventures - $5.95
Chaos Field (woo! Bullethell game) - $9.95
    Zoocube - $6.95
Ultimate Codes For Use With The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - $4.95

I thought I did horrible w/ price...VGPC says I did middle of the road though.

    PS1
    1 game, CIB
    Bushido Blade 2 - Free (I get a free $20 game w/ large purchase)

    Guides:
    3 guides, $10
    Quake (N64)
    Jet Force Gemini (N64)
Some other guide I can't pull from my brain, N64

    4 guides, $4 (Book Store)
AD&D Warriors of ...I can't remember the title. The Genesis game's Hint book
    Doom (N64)
2x Brood War (2 separate variations...one has yellow text on spine, one has white text on spine)

I've got some other stuff as well from Best Buy (penny guides, a new Ear Force X41 headset so I can play at night) and from my previous Flea Market runs that I didn't document here...but I'll get caught up eventually.

My 7800, last time I checked, wasn't working properly either. I'll see if it was just an issue with the cart seating, and if it's not, I'll see about parting it out.

I won't have a chance to drop by the PnT until next weekend, most likely.

What's with all the LaserDisc player finds lately? I also found one for 2 bucks a couple days ago. Will hopefully get my finds up later.

    I dunno. Laserdisc has always been to me one of those endlessly cool formats that I've never been able to find at garage sales. I'm still regretting passing on a Blade Runner LD for $1 at a garage sale a few months ago. That being said I do own Empire Strikes Back on LD but it's missing right now ;_;
