Heh the strange thing is that this is the second time i've found the game at the same store for the same price with in the last year and both times it came in with a lot of playstation games like madden and monopoly.

It's pretty exciting finding it like that tho. (me looking thru the PS1 games) Lets see they have Madden 99, Triple Play 98, Monoply, Pong, NCAA football 99, Team Buddies

The game's worth more than what I could offer for it, but I'm sure you'll get a pretty penny for it should you decide to flip it.

I actually had a copy of the game in my hand years ago and for whatever reason didn't buy it on the spot. I thought it looked neat and figured I would pick it up at some point. I've been on the hunt for the game ever since.

I'm not really sure what i'm going to do with it i'd like to keep it as a backup but the money is just to tempting.

Are you really playing your other one so much that you need a backup? If you're interested in selling and that one is in good condition, i'm looking to buy.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Man, you guys and your finds are killing me. I've been looking for a TurboDuo for years!

Anyway, hit a couple of thrifts and came back with:

PS1 Next Tetris (CIB), Gex: Enter the Gecko (CIB)- $4 each
    Futurama Vol. 3- $7
    N64 F-Zero X- $5, Tetrisphere- $1.50
NES Blaster Master w/ manual- $3

Not too bad. I was particularly excited about Futurama, since the discs are in perfect condition. For whatever reason though, the guys at Goodwill put no less than 7 or so price stickers on the box, a few on every side, all the same price. I don't quite get it...

The road cases are handy huh? You can lift the tops off with one person but it's tricky for someone who doesn't do it all the time. You need to brace it with your knees or shin below the handles, and pull the handles up and toward you at a 45ish degree angle. All the while keeping an equal force near the bottom of the lid with your legs. It's a lot easier done, than said- I've just had to unload a shitload of them. Anyway good score. I always keep my eye out for pro monitors, but they're not easy to find. That and I don't think they're being made anymore, it's all plasma and lcd now- a shame, but much more convenient.
You always struck me as very knowledgeable in all the CRT threads, when it occurred to me to seek an in-the-know opinion on these, sending you a PM was the first thing I thought of. Then I started doing searches, and you got better and more relevant info to me much quicker than I did, having used less time. I'm very glad to have had your help.

I guess I'll have to practice the one-man unpack/repack method until I can do it without busting a sweat. My room is an absolute mess ATM. When I get time to arrange it again, I'll have one on the case bottoms with the top off pretty much all the time. Then I won't have to worry about all that as much.

I originally got the two with the express intent to run them in tandem like my current VGA set-up. One hori and the other vert/tate. I know I'm not going to enjoy 90'ing 210lbs between different game screen orientations. Now that I have them, the edge seems rather narrow to support that weight. Might just stick to the 21in VGA for vert/tate orientation.

    Thanks again man!

Yeah, even Wal-Mart has them. Standard RCA composite w/ mono audio or a y-adapter for dual-mono.

This came into the goodwill I work at last night, someone else priced them and I came this morning when they opened and bought them both. The NES one has all of the cords and the manual inside, along with a warranty card, the N64 has all of the original plastic and paperwork but no cords. Neither have the system, it was still definitely worth it.

    50 cents each.

40 cents each with my discount.

I got yelled at by a manager though, I'm not supposed to take empty boxes out and sell them. They were gonna throw them away

Very nice find. Do they have the inner foam? I'd be interested in them if you'd like to sell them.

What's up with islands? Get more land.
What's up with deserts? Get less sand.

Not many game finds today. Many booths were closed, but not all... I found these, though.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back Original Soundtrack - $2
Madonna - Music, Madonna - Like a Prayer, System Shock 2 - $1 each at the booth where I found all those PC games last weekend.

I'm so happy I found the Jay and Silent Bob OST.

I'm going to see some AES games... Wouldn't say what they had over the phone or in email. I kinda hate that, but local is local. Might as well go take a look.

    "Hey, we have Kizuna Encounter."
"How much do you want for the games?"
    "$20k"
    "..."

    I would laugh so hard.

Picked this up today for $17.42 at F.Y.E at 20%, and after using the remainder of my FYE gift card from Easter, I paid $9.55. Not bad for such a great CD.
